I get out to the cars after school, and see Dallas sitting on the hood of his car and Cole standing in front of him, talking. Once they notice me, Dallas looks behind me like I’m hiding something. “What are you looking for?” I ask smiling. Dallas then looks at my face and smiles, “Just waiting for Amy.” He says, again glancing over my shoulder. “Don’t you have last period with her?” I ask Cole and he nods. “Yeah, but she ran to her locker. I figured she’d meet us out here.” He answers with a shrug.

I look back at the school, it’s nearly empty by now. I had to stay back for a few minutes to talk to one of my teachers. “Have you asked Mia? Maybe she decided to walk home.” I say looking back at Dallas. “Maybe... I don’t know something feels off. I’ll call Mia.” He says, sticking his hand out to Cole for his phone. I look at him questioningly, he shrugs, “Lost my phone.” Ah, yes, he told me that, not long after lunch.

Cole and I just stand there waiting. “Fucking Mia.” Dallas curses when

  • Full Moon Curse   Chapter 153- Amy

We spent the rest of the day at the scene, going over everything with a fine-tooth comb. The door was unlocked, which in this pack isn’t that uncommon, but with the amount of threats the Matthews have received over the last fifteen years, I find it unlikely. Making me think it might be someone they knew.Mr. Matthews kept them in a drawer at the bottom of his desk. I sit there, with the drawer wide open, reading page after page of death threats and just horrible, horrible things.I find it hard to believe the people in my pack are this cruel, but most of them were about protecting me. Their Luna. Not that that makes it any better.A deep remorseful sigh leaves me, and I throw my head back against the desk, a letter sitting between my knees. All of this, even after my attempts to resolve the issue. It seems the whole pack had a problem with them.I feel Dallas’s presence walk closer to me and he sits down next to me, taking the letter from between my legs and skimming over the contents

  • Full Moon Curse   Chapter 152- Amy

I wake up laying between Liam and Dallas, just like I always did with all my panic attacks before. Goddess, I haven’t had a panic attack in such a long time.I must have passed out and they brought me in here to calm me down. Liam’s arm is wrapped around my body pulling and keeping me against his chest, while I feel Dallas’s hand on my shoulder.I close my eyes and listen to their shallow breathing and soft snores. They’re sleeping. I smile into Liam’s chest, happy to finally be sleeping with my mate. Regardless of what brought us here.Liam and Dallas both sit up in bed suddenly, their eyes clashing and worry straining their expressions.Liam looks down at me a grim look on his face. “The Matthews are missing.” He informs me and my eyes widen. They both start to get out of the bed and Liam looks back at Dallas. “You need to stay here with Amy.” He tells him and I shake my head. “No. I’m going.”I’ve been trying to acclimate them into the pack ever since we took it over. They didn’t d

  • Full Moon Curse   Chapter 151- Griffon

The anger I feel is on another level, as I stalk through the pack. Dragging Nadia behind me on the way to where I’m going.I can’t even think straight. She didn’t even give a logical reason as to why she doesn’t like her, just threw her out, like she wasn’t important to me. To our family. To the whole damn pack!Nadia’s silent behind me, probably reeling through her thoughts on what she did wrong. I hate my mom for making her feel this way. I hate her!I begin to storm through the park and see Aspen playing football with Lenny and the twins again. Another spark of anger begins to spark in my soul, and I feel like I nearly go blind.Aspen notices me, as I watch her with them, still stalking through the park, but I can’t take my eyes off them. I can’t take my eyes off her. Which pisses me off even more. Why the fuck do I care who she’s with or what’s she’s doing? My mate is right behind me, I have no reason to care other than for her safety, but she’s with Lenny and the twins, she’s not

  • Full Moon Curse   Chapter 150- Amy

I storm down the street to my house, the house that once felt like a safe haven and now feels like I’m a stranger there. All because we aloud her in my home, and she’s used that as an opportunity to fuck everything up.Even if she’s not the one who’s working with the witch, if there even is anyone. I want her out of my house. I know she’s up to something, and though I can’t prove she’s the one who did this to Liam, I know she’s involved. I can feel it in my soul. Not having proof is just the only thing saving her from ending up in the cells. The front door slams open as I rush through it, Liam and Dallas right behind me. “Amy, we can’t prove anything.” Liam tries to reason with me, but I’m too far gone for it to matter.I stalk up the stairs and as soon as I’m about to storm into her room, her door opens. “Oh Amy, you scared me.” Nadia says, her hand over her heart, with a small smile on her face. Like we’re all apart of this big joke.I step back from her door and hear Griffon’s clic

Liam pushes Cole and Dallas off of him, “I’m fine!” He shouts, then stands turning towards me. His face lost to guilt and pain, causing my heart to break even after everything that’s happened. He starts to slowly walk towards me; Dallas grabs his shoulder to stop him. Liam stops, closing his eyes as a low growl leaves his throat. “Dallas, I’m going to talk to her.” Liam grits out, then opens his eyes to look at me.I stare into my mate's eyes, I need to let him explain, even if it kills me.I nod my head, and everyone walks out. Except Dallas who walks to the other side of the room and leans back against the wall, giving us as much privacy as his wolf will allow. My eyes close as I feel Liam start to walk towards me. I’ve never hated this mate bond as much as I do right now. This need to be comforted by him, even though he’s the one who hurt me.His hand lands lightly on my cheek and he lifts my head to meet his eyes. Reluctantly, I slowly open my eyes, and he opens up his emotions, l

In all the time I’ve loved Liam, I never would have guessed he would do this to me.But I can’t deny what happened, while lingering pains shoot through my body and I sit crunched over on the ground on top of a mountain.“Amy.” Liam’s pleading soft voice reaches my ears, and I look down shaking my head. How could he do this to me?Dallas growls and I watch as his feet step closer to me. “What do you mean, ‘what did you do?’ What did he do?” Dallas growls and I slowly look up at him.The pain slowly dissolving and I begin to try and stand again. I don’t answer Dallas, letting my eyes do the talking for me. I can’t say the words. I can’t even believe it’s real.“Amy. It’s not what you think.” Liam claims and I shut my eyes, trying to stop the tears that are falling freely down my face.Dallas growls and wraps his arm around my waist and pulls me into his chest. “What did you do, Liam?” Dallas grits out.I can’t look at him. I can’t see his face after what he’s done.Dallas’s hand around

  • Full Moon Curse   Chapter 147- Liam

The stress of the last few weeks is really starting to get to me. I can’t sleep with my mate, I can’t be alone with her, and I know it’s killing her as much as it is me. Which in return is only making me feel worse.I haven’t been able to sleep, so I sit downstairs on the couch watching tv all night and doing some work here and there.I haven’t started training Griffon again, not until he proves to me that he’s not some immature teenager who throws a fit every time he gets grumpy. The way he’s treating his mother is disturbing, I don’t think they’ve talked since we talked to him in the office. He says that Nadia found the necklace, and the place she found it could be where it was, but we all have searched around there, many times. Wanting to find the necklace for Amy. She didn’t want to wear it, but it was still important to her. Something she had from her mother, since she doesn’t have much left after she burned her house to the ground.I walk into the office not long after Amy leave

  • Full Moon Curse   Chapter 146- Amy

“There has to to be a way to locate her, Hazel.” I beg her to come up with something, anything. She shakes her head, “I can only do a locator spell on someone when I have something of theirs.” She says looking at me apologetically.A loud grunt leaves me as I throw my back into the chair. There has to be something we can do. Has to be something to help us find this witch.Liam, while better, is still distant and always makes sure there’s someone in the room with us at all times. He doesn’t even sleep in our room right now, too scared the witch might hex him while he’s sleeping and not willing to risk it. He claims the only reason he did it when I was in heat was because of the bodyguards just outside the door and we can’t ask our friends to sit outside our door for the foreseeable future.Dallas still won’t leave me alone. He sleeps on the couch in our room, closer to me than my own mate. He says with Griffon acting up he’s even more inclined to stay here.Cole glances up at me from b

  • Full Moon Curse   Chapter 145- Griffon

What the hell is wrong with everybody? Why does everybody think I’m going to hurt them? Am I really not allowed to get angry without everyone thinking I going to kill them?Everyone hates my mate, and they just expect me to be okay with that? Expect me to just sit back and let them all talk shit on her?I slow my walk just as the fresh air hits my face from opening the front door. I step outside onto the porch and look towards the sky. Why did she have that necklace?“Hey.” I hear whispered next to me, and I look over to see Aspen sitting on the chair on my porch. “Aspen.” I whisper back and go to sit on the chair next to hers. Though hesitantly, but she doesn’t tell me to fuck off, so I take that as invitation. We sit there in silence for far too long before she finally talks. “I knew you wouldn’t hurt me.” She whispers and I close my eyes and swing my head towards her. “Really? Because apparently hurting people is my thing now.” I tell her, still angry with my dad for even suggestin
