Zara.

I opened my eyes when the most beautiful aroma hit my nose. And it was too close to be coming all the way from downstairs.

I sat up only for me to see a trolley full of food, different things were in there that I had never seen before. And they all looked delicious.

I was so distracted by the food i n front of me that I didn't see Louis standing near the food until he cleared his throat.

I looked up at him, he was still as handsome as he was the night before, but he was only wearing a singlet and beach shorts. No hat this time.

"Breakfast is served." He said dramatically making me laugh.

"Thank you." I said back to him. This was so thoughtful of him. I didn't eat anything last night so my stomach was way too empty and I was so hungry.

"Feel free to indulge." He said in a sing song voice, plopping himself down from my bed while I shamelessly crawled to the food trolley and dug in.

I first took the one that looked like meat and put it in my mouth. "Oh My God" I muttered, moaning at the taste. It was so delicious.

I took another bite, savoring the taste some more. I turned around to see Louis pressing phone, a very big phone.

"Aren't you going to eat?" I asked him and he just shook his head. "Wait, is it only me that will finish all this food?" I asked him again still stuffing my face with food and he just shrugged. He seemed a bit distracted with what he was pressing.

I shrugged too and continued to eat. All these things were foreign to me but they tasted absolutely delicious.

I mustn't have known how hungry I was but I saw myself finishing the food. I was almost done when Louis finally stood up from my bed.

"Wow, see you that was calling me to eat." He exclaimed and I looked up to see him grinning like a fool. I gave him a glare and he just chuckled.

"I was hungry nah, and besides the food wasn't that much" I defended myself. He just laughed the more at me.

"I'll soon start calling you 'glutton Zara'" he joked and I glared again. I picked up a pillow and hit him with it and our laughter filled the room. It was nice to have someone to play with. And I am loving my time with Louis.

"So.." Louis began, putting on a serious face. "We are going to the office today. So go and freshen up and get dressed." He ordered and I nodded in reply. But something struck me, I had nothing to wear.

I decided to speak up. "I don't have any office clothes oh." I said and gave me a stunned look.

"Come oh, who do you think all those things in the closet are for or ikpuru isi (Are you blind?)" He asked making me laugh and I knew he was only teasing me. But my home training did not allow me to touch something that I didn't know the owner.

"I didn't know nah. Okay I'll look for something there." I said and he nodded, walking towards the door "I'll tell the maid to come clear that up" he called out, talking about the trolley. Just when I though he was out, the idiot stuck his head into my room and shouted "Glutton ZARA!!!"

"I will kill you Louis!!" I screamed making him laugh out loud, running away from my room.

"Idiot" I said laughing to myself.

I quickly went to bathe and get ready. I entered into the closet and tried to select what to wear but I was having serious trouble selecting. I later saw a red formal gown which was so pretty.

I put it on and I really loved the way it brought out all my curves and how the red colour complimented my very fair skin.

I noticed my hair is very rough. I only had it in corn rows before I came and it now looked very scattered. I looked around looking for how to do my hair until my eyes landed on the wigs on the top most part of the enormous shoe shelf. I wonder how I missed it before.

I took one of the long black curly wigs and put it over my head.

I couldn't help but admire the texture of the wig. This was definitely not the kind of wigs the sold in the village.

The front of the wig looked as if it was my hair and not a wig. It must be very expensive.

I took a pair of flats and wore, i don't know how to walk in high heels so I refrained from them before I disgrace myself in the outside.

When I was done and about to go out of the closet. Louis was already shouting my name from the room.

"Zara, Zara do fast ohh"

"I'm done" I said, rushing out of the closet to see Louis sitting down on my bed, pressing his phone. Him and that phone shaa. He was wearing a dress shirt and black dress pants with his black hat sitting on his head.

He looked up and froze making me suddenly feel conscious of myself.

"Wow, you look amazing." He said and I smiled. "Thank you." I said back to him.

We left the room, going downstairs and outside. I thought the driver was going to take us but we used another big beautiful car that had 4matic written on the back. I noticed that his name was printed on the plate number. How was that possible though.

Louis first took me to a phone shopcalled Slot. According to We were going around looking at phones and I didn't know the one to pick.

"You're confused right?" Louis asked me, chuckling while I looked in amazement at all the phones on display, not knowing which to choose.

"That's an understatement Louis, to be honest, I don't even know which one is better." I said to him making him laugh.

"Does anyone catch your eye though?" He asked and I thought for a second. His phone caught my eye today. It was very beautiful than most of these phones.

"Can I get the same with your own?" I asked, a little bit scared that he would say no. I put on my best puppy dog face and he started to laugh.

"Seriously you don't need to do that. Anything my sis wants, my sis gets." He said making me smile. My heart was full of joy at the acceptance that he had given me. He just met me yesterday.

He called one of the attendants over and a tall black lanky guy came to where we were standing. And I must say the guys I had been seeing in this Lagos were very handsome.

"Do you have iPhone Xs Max?" He asked and the attendant nodded yes making me do a mental fist pump.

Louis then turned to me "What colour do you want, Rose gold, Black, Gold or White?" He asked.

I thought for a moment. Rose gold sounded like a nice colour so I decided to try it although I didn't know how it was.

"Rose gold." I said and Louis' expression turned into one of amusement. He asked the attendant to go and get it making him hurry off.

"I know you only picked that colour because you don't know what it is." He stated making me blush. Just one day and he already knows me so well.

"I'm just curious nah" I retorted and he smiled.

"Curiosity killed the cat Zara."

"Well I thank God that cats have nine lives then." I said making him burst out in laughter and after some time I joined him and we only stopped when the attendant brought the phone.

The phone was so beautiful. I was in awe of the Rose Gold colour. The phone literally felt like a machine in my hands.

"You like it?" Louis asked making me look up at him smiling. I did a small jump which made Louis laugh.

"This girl" he said shaking his head and grinning.

"I love it." I said with excitement. I was so joyous. The closest thing I've had to a phone was a Nokia Torch one of my school friends gave me so that I could be getting information.

"How much?" Louis asked the attendant and I also looked at the attendant.

"Three hundred and eighty five thousand naira. It comes with 24 months warranty. So if anything spoils, bring it to us with the receipt." The attendant answered and it was like all the air was knocked out of my lungs. It was so expensive.

How could I expect someone to pay that kind of amount for just a phone.

I haven't even seen that kind of money before.

Before Louis could say anything, I gave him a look making him stop.

"Can you excuse us for a minute? I'll call you" Louis told the attendant and he left.

He looked at me "Don't you like it again?"

"It's too expensive" I said and he laughed.

"Zara Zara Zara.. You think I can't afford it?"

"No no no. I know you can.. I know its just that I can't imagine spending all that money on just a phone" I whined and he smiled at me.

"You're so adorable. Look I'm not complaining. The only thing that matters here is that you like the phone." He explained making a smile tug at my lips.

"Okay, Thank you." I said and he wrapped his hand around my shoulder and brought me into his side.

"You're my baby sis now. Let me spend on you." He said and kissed the side of my head. That gesture really warmed my heart.

Louis called the attendant back and gave him a UBA debit card to pay for the phone.

After that, we bought a sim card from a booth in the mall and then fixed it in the phone.

When we got back to the car, Louis taught me how to use the phone, the internet, messaging and how to make and receive calls with it. He then saved his number in my phone.

We were on our way to the office when Louis got a call.

"Aboki what's up.... I'm going to the office... What, now?... Isn't it too early?... Can't his excitement wait till evening?... Okay okay fine I'll be there in ten but tell Tayo the drinks are on him."

He finished and put the phone down.

"We aren't going to the office anymore" he informed with a straight face.

My shoulders sagged, I was very excited to finally go to work today.

"Why nahh" I whined.

He looked at me then back to the road. "I'm sorry Zara, I know you're really eager to go to the company. Something just came up."

I sighed. "Okay so where are we going."

"My Hotel."

I'll be waiting for what you decide. You can also have this notepad to write down your thoughts." He said and gave us a notepad. We began our search. We had laughs and talked about everything. Also gossiped about a few of our friends. We basically dissected everything while violating table manners. But we didn't care. Once we were done with our three course meal of exquisite delicacies, as of on cue, music started to play. One of my favorite songs at the moment. Odo by Johnny Drille. "Can I have this dance ma cherie" Aminu held his hand out smiling while I laughed at something he had said earlier.
