 "No, Leía, what I said is true, you're my other half. I've known it since I was a child," he repeats, taking her hands and pulling her back to his body.

 "How could you know that since you were a child? Our wolves don't emerge until we're sixteen," Leía continues to ask, not entirely convinced but hopeful that it's true. She doesn't know why, but her heart leaped with happiness at the idea.

 "Don't forget that I am the original heir of a superior race, and even though I was introduced into a wolf, I could still control everything. And I smelled you that first day I saw you, do you remember? You were with your dad at my house, they brought you to play with me in my room. Don't tell me you forgot how I hugged you and kissed you and wouldn't let any other kid come near you? Did you forget, Leía?"

 "No, I never forgot. That's why I didn't understand when one day you started treating me badly and rejecting me out of the blue.
