Chapter 15.

Calista POV.

I know something is wrong, and there is something more than what Gaia is telling us. Whatever it is, I will get to the bottom of it.

“Will she be ok?” Jake asks and I sigh as I turn to look at him.

“I don’t know. But whatever she has just found out, she isn’t telling us the full truth about.” I say turning my attention back to the retreating figure of Gaia.

“She will tell us when she is ready. We just need to be there for her and show her that she can trust us enough to tell us,” Gabriel says, and I nod as she vanishes. No doubt on her way to see Selene.

“We have another problem, though.” I look at Leo when it hits me. Shit!

“Selene won’t say anything to her about what happened that night. She wouldn’t risk Gaia’s wrath.” I tell him as we walk towards the door leading up into the palace.

“Calista, who is the soul that escaped?” I blink. There is no harm in telling them, right? I’m sure if there was, then Gaia would have said not to tell them.
