Jake POV.

This is some fucked up shit. I stood frozen as I watch Leo and Gaia fight it out, then he tried to forcibly mark her. I mean, I know he is the more dominant one, but fuck, what was he thinking? The situation was already volatile without him doing that shit.

“Leo, you are bang out of order. What the fuck, man?” I snarl at him. Usually I’m the one who is the peace keeper but seeing that I’m seriously angry and so is my wolf Gunner.

“I don’t know, it just happened. She is a handful. I won’t be attacked by anyone Jake. What was I supposed to do let her fucking kill me? I did what I thought would subdue her. I won’t apologise for it.” He growls at me when Calista walks out with an unconscious Gaia in his arms. She has been dressed in a white shirt as I move towards her bed and pull the quilt back as he places her gently on the pillow.
