Chapter 9.

Leo POV.

Gaia will learn. She may be a dominant female, but I’m the dominant Alpha male and I won’t stand for her defiance.

“Sooo, what do we intend to do with her when our fiery little mate returns?” I turn and look towards Gabriel with a smile as I kiss him on his lips.

“Well, I’m thinking she needs to learn who the real Alpha is in this mate bond.” I tell him as he chuckles, shaking his head.

“It’s your funeral. I will say some lovely words in my eulogy.” He scoffs as I hit him in his chest and he grunts before erupting into laughter. Just as the door to the living room opens and in she comes.

“Gaia!” Calista and Jake both exclaim together as we all stand and walk towards her when she holds her hand up, stopping us in our tracks.

“Give me a moment, please.” She says with a sigh as she walks past us and over to the bar in the corner.

She holds a bottle up and shakes it in our direction, and I frown. Does she always drink? Well, that will stop.
