~Vivienne's POV

All I wanted was to get my revenge. At least, that was until he showed up.

He made me become quiet and calm with just his presence alone. Every time he spoke, his deep baritone voice sent tremors through me. I couldn't help but be overly conscious of him even when I knew that to him, I was just someone he once slept with, and that he likely just wanted to sleep with me again.

But at the same time...

Who the hell did he think he was?

This man was very difficult to understand, his words and actions perplexed me every time. But then, he was compelling in a very subtle way.

I could have chosen to ignore him and gone home in my car but I didn't. The threat of him telling people about the both of us wasn't at all scary to me. I already didn't care. He should have known that, except he just wanted to find an excuse.
