I woke up as the morning sun peep through the window, I looked around remembering what happened last night, Max had kidnapped and raped me, forcing his mark and I hoped my husband survived. I got up with my aching body seeing the blood on the sheets and I limped over to the bedroom. I needed to get ahold of my husband, I didn't love Max anymore, I loved my mate, he treated me like I mattered and understood me, I had my kids with me, I was a grandmother and everything was looking up for me. I looked at the forced mark he placed on my neck and it was red and barely healed, my mark with my husband had faded and I thought he was dying or dead, I needed to get out of here but I needed to clean up so I don't scare Joey.
