The Truth- Book One- Chapter Eighteen

Later back at the cabin we decided to play board games until my mom and the Westons come back. After Porter won for the umpteenth time, he excused himself saying he has things to do in his room. Since Kieran and I are alone, she wanted to show me the pictures she took at the waterfall. They were good, and then she got to one I had not known she had taken.

Porter and I on the edge of the river gazing into each other's eyes. Then the next shot was us kissing only it looked like there was a white halo lit around us. Looking at it, it looked to be a camera glare, so I thought nothing of it. But seeing the photos, I looked at her puzzled, “Why, How?”

“I was standing at the top of the waterfall looking down and saw you two. I figured you might want these to begin your photo album of your life together.”

I flipped through the other photos and saw those were the only two. “Don't worry I looked away after the first photo of you two kissing.”

I smiled at her thoughtfulness. “Thank you, Kieran.”
