Early in the morning, I slowly and gently drove heading to the school using my service bike.
I slowly took off my helmet and parked the bike and securely locked it when suddenly, a luxurious black Lamborghini stopped and park beside me.
It was Roger Jackson. Every student, especially the girls were drooling at him. Aside from being handsome and hot, he comes from a wealthy family.
He has been our Lacrosse Captain for three consecutive years. He was a spoiled brat that everything he wants, he always gets.
“Dude, you should watch where you are parking your cheap bicycle. I don’t want my car to get a stain from that.” He boastfully said.
“Yow… Roger, let’s go!” One of his friends called.
I was completely felt relieved after he abandoned me in the parking lot. I am lucky that he didn’t beat the hell out of me and slowly went inside the building.
”Hey, what was it all about with Roger?” Kevin curiously asked after he saw Roger talking to me.
“No, it’s nothing. Hey, I want to show you something.” I then slowly raised my shirts and showed the adhesive bandage on my stomach.
“Ohh… What the hell was that bro?”
I gently put back down my shirts.
“A bite. It was too dark to see much but I am pretty sure it was some kind of a wolf.”
He slowly scratched his head in disbelief. “A wolf bit you? Not a chance.” He then teasingly laughed.
“I heard a wolf howling!”
“No, you didn’t. Stop the nonsense, all right?”
“What do you mean, “No I didn’t”? How did you know about what I saw and heard?”
Kevin was the type of person who was hard to let him believe your story not unless he would see and hear it himself.
“Simply because Green Hills doesn’t have any wolves, okay? Not in like, over a thousand years.
I only ended up frowning my face after knowing he always insists on his own beliefs.
After the classes ended, I decided to go home early, as my body seems on fire like hell. Perhaps, it’s because of the infection I got from the wound.
When I got home, I immediately went to the bathroom to take a bath. As usual, my mom was not around in the house as she had her night shift in the hospital.
After I took a bath, my body temperature also descended, and made sure that all the doors were locked afterward.
The only thing that has left open was the window of my room with a ladder on the side of it. That is my emergency exit in case of unexpected incidents might happen in the house.
I was seriously looking at the moon.
“Aah…” I screamed extremely.
I was completely freaking out when Kevin’s head surprisingly showed up in the window
I have not completely moved on about what happened to me last night and the wound proved it.
“Wooh…Wooh! It’s just me, bro.” Kevin shouted extremely.
“Kevin, what are you doing?” I furiously asked in be anxious.
“What am I doing? You were not answering your phone. I have been calling you, like a hundred times this evening. And why do you have a bat?” He replied exhaustedly.
“Oh, I thought you were some kind of theft or the same beast that attacked me last night. You cannot blame me for being cautious.”
“A what?” He then descended and went inside the room.
“Look, I know it’s a bit late, but you got to hear this. I saw my dad leave thirty minutes ago. Dispatched called. They brought with them every officer from the Green Hills Police Department and even the State Police.” Kevin added.
“What for?” I curiously asked.
“Report says two joggers found a body in the woods tonight.”
“A dead body?”
“No, a body of water. Yes, you idiot. A dead body of course.”
“You mean like murdered?”
“Nobody knows yet. Just that it was a girl, probably in her thirties.”
I frowned in confusion. “Hold on a sec, if they already found the body, what are they looking for?”
“That’s the best part. They only found half of the body.” He then stood up out of the bed. “Were coming.”
Leaving no choice, I am also intrigued by what happened to the girl. Perhaps, it might be the dog I encountered last night attacked her.
When we arrived at the woods, we immediately indulged the dark cold smog in the forest.
“Umm, just out of curiosity, which part of the body are we looking for?” I confusedly asked.
“Huh, I didn’t think about that.” He grinned helplessly.
“And, what if whoever killed the girl is still out here?”
“Also, that my friend, that something I don’t know. Will you please just shut up so we could focus on looking?”
I did not say a single word after that. Instead, I followed Kevin wherever he was heading.
After a few minutes walk, I felt immediately exhausted, especially I am walking slowly because of the wound.
Kevin also felt exhausted. That makes the two of us now.
Moreover, Kevin was already a hundred steps from me. Since he was the one holding the flashlight, I left no choice but the go behind him.
When I almost got near to Kevin, I immediately hid when his body suddenly stumbles to the ground.
All their flashlights and guns were completely focus on Kevin and the dogs continued from barking.
“Hold it right there!” Mr. Stewart ordered his officers to tightly hold the K-9 dogs.
He caressed the dogs to calm themselves.
“Hang on, this delinquent belongs to me.” He added.
Kevin greeted his dad as politely as possible to avoid being scolded and lectured.
Mr. Stewart wagged his flashlight.
“Now, where is your partner in crime, huh?”
“Who? Do you mean Clark? He’s home. He told me he wanted to get a good night's sleep due to his severe wound in his stomach.” Kevin explained dishonestly.
Mr. Stewart seemingly agreed to Kevin’s lies. It would not truly be advisable for me to come with him wounded.
“Well, young man, I’m gonna walk you back to your car and you and I are gonna have a serious conversation about something we called, following my words.”
Moreover, I didn’t hear any presence from them after they all left. It was only me left alone in these woods.
I immediately took and switched on the flashlight of my phone heading to the ground.
I was completely freaking terrified after seeing the other half of the body, eyes opened and full of blood.
To my surprised, I immediately ran as fast as I could. When my stomach was in pain and bleeding, I slowly stopped for a bit and had calmed myself.
As creepy as the night was, I suddenly hear a continuous weird growling behind me.
My heart immediately beats faster and faster. Because of much pain and exhaustion, I couldn’t move my body anymore.
I sighed helplessly and decided to close up my eyes as my whole body was already full of sweat and was scared up to death.
I slowly opened my other eye to check the area and immediately my body was completely frozen when I saw not only one but two wolves standing in front of me.
Compared to the last wolf I met last night, their eyes were cold blue and they only stared at me the whole time.
The other wolf barked at me enough that I got my normal mindset and immediately ran towards the main road.
Luckily, the two wolves didn’t go after me. Instead, I could feel that they helped me to be out of the woods.
When I reached the main road, I felt utterly relaxed as a few cars were passing by.
I immediately hailed a cab heading back to our house.
The next day, I went up early for school because I can’t wait to tell Kevin about my discovery last night.
I immediately received a teasing laugh from Kevin when he saw me waiting outside the gate.
“Hey, how was the hunting trip last night?” Kevin dejectedly asked.
“What the hell man! You left me all alone in that creepy place.” I pretentiously replied in an antagonistic manner.
“Okay, I’m sorry. Are you happy now?” He replied guiltily.
I then shifted my mood and facial expression back to normal when we were heading to the room.
"Alright, you don’t have any idea what happened to me last night, bro. That was freaking awesome and terrifying at the same time. I saw two wolves. Same sizes with the one that attacked me but I think they were not an aggressive one.”
He sighed dejectedly. “How many times do I have to tell you there’s no wolf in Green Hills, you idiot!”
“Well, if you’re not gonna believe me with that wolf thing, you might wanna believe me when I tell you, I found the other half of the dead body.” I enthusiastically said.
Kevin immediately jumped through excitement. His face lightened up.
“Are you kidding me?”
“No, man…how I wish. I think I’m gonna have nightmares for like a month.”
We then went to the room.
“As you all know, there indeed was a dead body found in the woods the other day. And I am pretty sure your selfish immature little minds are coming up with several macabre scenarios as to what happened.
Kevin and I excitedly exchanged glances while our professor keeps on writing on the board.
But, I am here to tell you that the police already have suspects in custody, which means you can give your thorough attention to the copies that I put into your desks.” Professor William, our History teacher cordially said.
Amidst of him continue speaking, I unexpectedly heard loud excruciating dings from a phone.
I eagerly observed my classmates who would probably pick up their phone and rose in confusion when no one does.
“Mom, five calls on my first day is quite annoying and depressing.”
A girl sitting in the park was the one speaking. My eyes widened in shock and confusion why and how on earth could I hear everything from a distance.
“Everything except for a pen. Oh my God, I really forget to bring a pen with me.” She worriedly said when she didn’t find anything from her bag.
Amidst her conversation with her mom, our School Principal approached her and asked.
“Sorry to keep you waiting.” He then politely bowed his head.
After the call ended, the two went inside the building. As they kept talking, my eyes and ears were also following.
In a few seconds, our classroom door suddenly unlocked and opened. I can clearly hear her heartbeat that sounded like a growling thunder.
Our School Principal politely introduced the new girl. Afterward, he went outside.
Chapter 48: Skull Of A Bull Clark suddenly took a glimpse of Nathan before they left the place. “We’ll just gonna help next time or tomorrow. Today, I need to talk to Rico.” “Oh, the son visits his werewolf dad for the first time.” Porter teasingly said. “Dude, you should technically visit your werewolf Dad sometimes. He’s your remaining family, by blood. And he has everything you need to know.” Kevin coldly voiced out. “How I wish it would be that easy.” Adam slowly leaned his head into the glass window. “Another thing, I haven’t heard you mentioning about the fox who helped you control the beast inside you. What was her name again?” Kevin took a glimpse at Clark. “Speaking of the fox, what happened also to the fox inside you? Does that mean you can now defeat the Beast Lord since you already have the control?” Porter added. Clark ended up breathing out deeply from Kevin and Porter’s consecutive questions that don’t have an answer. Moreover, they a
Chapter 47: Normal Day Clark, Porter, and Kevin piled the weapons so it would be easy to lift. They couldn’t help themselves but play at some of the weapons as though like a kid. "Dude, Clark, why weren't you telling us last night so we could come to help?" Kevin breathed out as he lifted most of the weapons. "I guess that's the same line I just asked Clark when he got back to the house this morning." Porter chuckled. "It's okay. What matters is that nothing bad happens to me. And besides, I stopped the fight from the two groups to happen." Clark said back. "And, that's the same line he answered me when he got back to the house this morning." Porter chuckled back. "Aren’t those supposed to be my line? I am supposed to be the naughty one from the three of us." Kevin humorously replied. "Ease up boys." Dr. Gilbert slid and tapped Clark and Kevin's back. "What will you gonna do with those, Clark?" "I still don't know. Maybe I'm just gonna keep them in
Chapter 46: Bulletin Boards After a few minutes, Clark arrived in their house. Clark hurriedly rushed to his room and set the car keys on the table beside bed. Clark took off his clothes and dragged his feet towards the bathroom to take a bath. It only took three minutes for Clark taking his bath as he is almost late for school. He then descended towards the kitchen looking for Porter. “Dude, where have you been? I didn’t notice you in the house the entire night.” Porter voiced out even if his mouth was filled with food. Adam slid towards the table and took a piece of sliced bread and apple. “Are you not coming?” Adam hurriedly dragged his feet heading to the doorway. “Hey? Are you not supposed to have your breakfast first?” Porter asked back. Adam simply raised his arms with apple and sliced bread. “I’ll just eat along the way.” Porter hurriedly lifted his backpack and another piece of sliced bread from the table before tailing off Clark headin

Chapter 44: Moon Stone Pack When we reached the construction site, Dad was very busy assisting the workers. He was completely hands on for the accomplishment of his first business. Dad exited after he saw us parking in front of the building. A few more days to go, the resto-bar will be completed as the men are working day and night. Porter also takes a look inside the building to extend some help. “Hey, Dad.” I grinned and shrugged him. “So, how’s your day at school as someone with a price on the head?” He teasingly asked. I crossed my arms around my chest while staring at the building. “Well, someone tried to. In the canteen but he only ended up being beaten.” I sighed deeply while leaning my back at the window shield. “So, what’s the plan, huh? You cannot watch and protect your life every day.” Dad also leaned his back to the window shield. “I don’t know yet, Dad. But I know as of now, the assassination might stop now.” I then opened the tailgates
Chapter 43: Bag of Money Out of curiosity, I took the box and take a look at it. When I flipped it to the other side, there’s a note at the back of the box. “Unwrap me…Call me later… Dad” I muffed. After removing the glittering red plastic film out of the box, I was completely surprised. It was a new Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G touched-screen phone. My Dad was really very keen to every detail about me. He was right; I absolutely need a new phone right now since Porter broke my phone. “How much did Dad buy this one? I think this kind of phone is so expensive.” I mumbled as I keep on looking at the phone. “A new phone, huh? So I guess I have another phone to break to.” Porter teasingly replied. “Let’s go?” “Wait, gonna get my bag first.” I immediately ascended upstairs. While heading to the car in the garage, I gently switched on the new phone. After all the apps displayed, I immediately dialed Dad’s number. “Hello, Dad?” “Yes, Clark? I am alr
Chapter 42: Bloody Night Drops of blood were ejected out of my chest like an open faucet. My wolf was completely caught off guard at the moment. This was supposed to be heaven but it ended in hell. After the girl noticed I was no longer moving, she felt exhausted and slowly moved out of me and reached for the white towel above my head and wiped all the blood on her body. She took off her clothes and threw them in the small trash bin. “Roger was completely obsessed with you. Imagine, five million dollars for your head?” She then put some makeup on her lips. “Only crazy people would not be tempted and decline such an offer. In fact, you’re an easy-to-kill type of person, don’t you know that?” She chuckled. Amidst her long speech, she didn’t notice my body was already gone on the bed. She was busy soothing herself in front of the mirror. When she turned her face back to me, she was completely stunned and dumbfounded. She immediately took the knife in the trash
I didn’t expect Porter could say those words to me. In some ways, he was right. I am still too tough for this. Perhaps, that’s one of the reasons why several got hurt in front of me.“It’s okay, dude. Porter will be alright.” Kevin patted and shrugged my back. With my anger, I removed Kevin’s shoulder from me.“You know what? Not all people will help you unconditionally like Porter just did. If you did not appreciate it, then you really had a problem, Clark.” Kevin also went away from me.“Shit,” I mumbled.I removed my helmet and smash it to the ground. The two close friends I have just walked away from me.Moreover, the Doctor examined Roger’s ankle. Unfortunately, after the result of the x-ray, he suggested that it would take at least two to three months before Roger could walk back properly.Roger couldn’t help but gritted his teeth in disappointment. I strode towards Dad and lifted his left arm towards my face.Dad woke up after noticing his arm was lifted up.“Hey.” He said with a squashy voice and looked at Mom and Kevin. He then gave us a half-smile.“Hey, Dad.”“Am I dead?” He jokingly replied.I chuckled and breathed out. “Your car is dead, Dad.”Dad rubbed my shoulder and stared at me seriously. “You are great out there. The other you were so beautiful. I saw you for the first time. Don’t ever think you’re a monster, all right?” Then, he made a mimic growling sound.Mom chuckled.“Thank you, Dad. That helps a lot for me.”“Did you kill the vampire?”“Yeah, the vampire
