Chapter 4

POV EDWARD.

"That kid is amazing and he looks just like your brother."

My sweetheart Lisa sent me a video when I was about to bed. Like it or not, I opened the link sent by her. A piano contest? Okay. I'm not interested in music. But this is an international music contest and one of the participants is a five-year-old! Crazy!

I sent the video to Aston, who is a piano teacher. The opinion is the same. The kid looked a lot like Jayden. I don't want to make this a presumption. So I went to the attic and got an old album with our portraits. Sure enough. The viral little boy's face looks familiar because his face was Jayden's face when he was little.

Oh, God! Does my brother date every woman in town? I admit that Jayden is indeed the most handsome of all the brothers because he is the only one who has entirely inherited our father's genetics. While all the brothers have pale skin and freckles like mother, only Jayden has exotic yellow skin. His nose is also the most perfect of us all.

Jayden is famous as don juan. He can date a different woman every night. So don't be surprised if news suddenly shows he has a child with a foreign woman. Although now there is no information that he has children. Today's women use contraception every time they have sex. Abortion is also legalized.

When I tried to forget about the kid who looked like Jayden, Aston seemed drawn further.

"You accompany me to look up the boy's address. I will pretend to be his piano teacher and find out the truth about him. You know Jayden needs to be stopped. He has crossed the line. If he continues like this, drunk and having fun every night, his career could be ruined. It's possible that with the arrival of a child, Jayden will change."

"Fine," I said before hanging up the call. I am very sleepy. Tonight I dreamed I saw my brother, Jayden, holding a small child in his arms—the little boy who looked exactly like him.

"Good afternoon, we're from piano school. Meet Aston Wood. He's a great piano teacher and I'm his assistant, Edward Wood. We want to meet this extraordinary kid. What's his name?"

I tried not to tremble as I spoke to the thin woman looking at me intently.

"Did you guys watch Adam's video?"

I nodded. The woman smiled awkwardly and then let Aston and I enter.

The woman returned with a child. Aston and I locked eyes. Sure enough. His face is very similar to Jayden's.

"Hi, son. I am a music teacher, especially piano. I want to teach you after seeing your performance last night. Are you willing?"

The boy nodded.

"What's your name?" Aston asked gently.

"Adam."

"All right, Adam. How about we start today's lesson?" Aston tried to speed up the conversation after I gave him the code. We had to move quickly before Adam's mother, who kept looking at us inquiringly, changed her mind and questioned where we had come from.

"We have room to play the piano. Please follow me, gentlemen."

Aston and I looked at each other. I pretended to see a spider in Adam's hair and pretended to clean it. I took Adam's hair and pulled out a strand. Please put it in a small plastic, then nod twice, indicating our mission is over. Aston finally accelerated his lessons and then we said goodbye to go home.

Taking a sample of Jayden's hair is the easiest thing to do. Tonight Jayden was drunk again. There was a lipstick mark on his collar. He really couldn't be stopped.

After taking Jayden's hair, Aston and I gave it to the hospital. We were just told to wait for a few days.

"Hopefully, this will work," I said hopefully. Aston nodded. We are brothers fed up with Jayden's behaviour, constantly doing something detrimental to him. I hope my brother changes.

When the lab results returned, Aston and I felt short of breath. So far, it turns out that Jayden has a child that he doesn't know about.

"You have to see this!" I shouted. Jayden was still neatly dressed. He had just come from work and had not touched a pint of beer.

"What?"

"Your son! He is your son!"

I handed the DNA test results to Jayden, who read them with a frown. I knew that Jayden would never believe it. He's an unbelievable person.

"You're making a joke, Edward? How annoying!"

Jayden threw the test results at me. He burst out laughing and walked away. But I won't give up. Not until he changes. If Jayden were someone else, I certainly wouldn't bother with his life choices. But he is my brother and I always pray the best for him every night.

"Please don't believe me, but if you ignore my warning, I'm telling you, you will regret it, Jayden!"

"How did you think he was my son?" Jayden turned around.

"His face. He looks exactly like you!" I tried to convince him.

"Edward, have you studied facial similarities? In this world, seven people look the same."

"Then what is the DNA test evidence? Am I making this up? Do you think I'm crazy? Aston and I agreed to do this. You do have a child with a foreign woman, Jayden."

"I've always used a condom!" Jayden shouted. A moment later, he swore. "Unlucky!"

"Are you sure you're going to meet him?" I took Jayden to the big house.

"This is Mr Mills' residence."

"You know him?"

"He's my business partner."

I pat my head. Good grief. How can my brother have a child from his business partner's child? Aston just shook his head and gave straightforward advice. "Better start now. You have to learn to be responsible for what you make."

Our car arrives in the yard. Jayden and I decided to wait on a park bench while Aston tutored the kid for a bit so as not to raise suspicions.

"Are you ready?" I saw Jayden's face looking nervous even though he said he was fine.

"I think I'm ready and I'm fine. Who says I'm nervous?"

"I didn't say you were nervous." I dodged. Jayden bought took a deep breath.

The sound of footsteps approaching. He made me and Jayden turn around. Aston can be seen holding a boy who looks very much like Jayden. The boy stared at Jayden intently as Jayden scanned him. Jayden walked over. He seemed to see himself in childhood in the boy's body before him. Jayden strode like a man who had just been hypnotized.

"Are you my Daddy?"

The boy asked. Jayden approached without saying anything.

"Aston said you're my Daddy. You're my Daddy, right?"

The boy asked again. Jayden's face looked very red.

"Daddy?"
