Elena’s POV

After pulling up the partial plate, I immediately ran it through my system’s database, hoping for any kind of match. Even the smallest piece of information could be enough to point us in the right direction.

The logo already told me it belonged to a moving company. That much had been obvious. What I wanted to know was who actually owned the company.

Lines of information scrolled across my screen while my fingers continued dancing across the keyboard. Everyone in the office rema

  • Ghost In The Pack   Job Accepted

Draven’s POV The moment Elena stepped back into the main office, every conversation died without a word being spoken. Nobody stared. Nobody asked questions. Darren leaned against the wall with his arms crossed over his chest. Byron stood beside him. Alan and Lyra remained near the picture window overlooking Ringside, both of them noticeably quieter than they had been earlier. Nico never looked away from the wall of monitors. One hand rested on the keyboard while the other held Elena’s closed laptop. It chimed again. Ping. He glanced over his shoulder. “I rewound the footage a couple of minutes.” I nodded my head and walked toward him. Elena followed beside me. Close enough that our shoulders brushed. Not close enough to touch. I noticed. She was keeping her distance slightly. Nico tapped a key. The video resumed. Bernard’s convoy rolled into the warehouse yard, headlights sweeping across the destruction left behind by his own strike team. The place looked like a battlefield. SU

  • Ghost In The Pack   Mate?

Elena’s POV My legs moved before my mind caught up. I barely remembered walking away from the monitors. One second I was staring at wolves charging across a warehouse yard. The next, I was standing inside the bedroom connected to the office. The sounds from Ringside still echoed faintly through the walls, but they felt far away now. None of it seemed real. I sat down on the edge of the bed and leaned forward, burying my face in my hands. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw it again. Bones cracking. Clothes tearing. Men becoming wolves. These weren’t men in costumes. Nope. Not special effects either. This was… Real. The mattress dipped slightly behind me. I didn’t have to look up to know who it was. “When were you going to tell me?” My voice came out muffled against my hands. For a moment, he didn’t answer. “I was looking for the right time.” I slowly lowered my hands into my lap. He sat beside me, giving me enough room to breathe. “I was always going to tell you.” I searched

  • Ghost In The Pack   You…

Draven’s POV Every conversation in the room died the second Nico spoke. “Guys… it’s time.” I turned toward the wall of monitors, Elena’s hand still resting in mine as everyone gathered behind Nico’s workstation. The largest screen showed the entrance to the warehouse. Right on schedule. Several black SUVs rolled through the gate before coming to a stop near the loading docks. One after another, armed men climbed out, spreading across the lot. Bernard’s strike team. They were making their move. The room settled into an uneasy silence broken only by the muffled roar from Ringside beyond the glass and the occasional crackle coming through the monitor speakers. Darren folded his arms across his chest as he watched Bernard’s men move into position. “So…”!He glanced sideways at me. “Where did Ghost send them?” I didn’t answer right away. Instead, I watched Bernard’s men split into groups, exactly as I’d expected they would. They hugged the shadows, rifles raised, believing every step

  • Ghost In The Pack   It’s Time

Draven’s POV By the time we made it back to Limelight, the sun had disappeared beneath the horizon. Night had settled over the city, bringing the familiar energy that always surrounded the club. Music pulsed through the walls while laughter and conversation drifted from the upper level. Beneath us, Ringside was already packed. The roar of the crowd rolled through the building every few seconds as another fight unfolded inside the ring. Business as usual. Exactly the way I wanted it. If Bernard had anyone watching us, they’d see nothing out of the ordinary. Elena walked beside me as we made our way toward the office. She’d been unusually quiet since leaving the penthouse, though every now and then I’d catch her glancing my way before pretending she hadn’t. Ash chuckled. “She’s adorable.” I ignored him and pushed open the office door. Alan looked up from the couch the second we walked inside. “There you all are.” His eyes swept across the room before settling on Darren. “What happ

  • Ghost In The Pack   We Strike Tonight

Bernard’s POVThe three little dots appeared. Finally. Damn. It took long enough. I roll my eyes as I leaned forward in my chair, my fingers gripping the edge of my desk as I watched the Ghost Link screen. My heart pounded harder with every passing second.Come on. The dots blinked. Then they disappeared. “What the hell?” I stared at the empty screen, waiting for another message to appear. Nothing.A low growl escaped my throat as I slammed my palm against the desk. “Don’t play games with me.”The room fell silent except for the ticking of the grandfather clock in the corner.Five seconds. Ten. Fifteen. Then the three dots returned. I straightened immediately. “There you are.” They danced across the screen for several seconds before disappearing again. My patience snapped. With one violent sweep of my arm, everything on the corner of my desk crashed to the floor. Pens scattered across the hardwood, a stack of folders burst open, and my stapler slammed into the wall before dropping to

  • Ghost In The Pack   Control

Draven’s POV The soft click of the laptop closing echoed through the kitchen. Elena leaned back in her chair with a satisfied smile tugging at the corner of her lips. There wasn’t a hint of hesitation in her. She’d taken my idea, transformed it into something only Ghost could create, and sent Bernard running straight into a trap without blinking. I couldn’t stop looking at her. Ash let out an amused chuckle inside my head. “You’re doing it again. You’ve been staring at her since she hit send.” He wasn’t wrong. Only a few minutes earlier she’d been rolling her eyes every time I teased her, trying to pretend she wasn’t affected. Then she’d opened that laptop, and everything changed. It was like watching someone flip a switch. The shy, flustered woman disappeared, replaced by someone confident, focused, and completely in control. She hadn’t asked for instructions or questioned herself once. She’d simply become Ghost. Ash laughed again. “I thought she was beautiful before. Now I’m i
