Chapter 4

Aiden's Point of View

"Are you okay?" Regie asked.

I nodded and took the table napkin. Oh, man, that was embarrassing.

Wyatt caressed my back and asked, "Are you okay, babe?"

B-Babe?! That's so common!

We didn't talk about the endearment, so I was surprised.

I turned to him and nodded, "Yeah, I'm fine."

Marcus smiled and said, "Good to know that you're fine. So, may we know your name?"

"I'm Aida," I said.

"She's Aira," Wyatt said.

What the fuck?!

We spoke at the same time, so I wouldn't wonder why his cousins looked at us in shock and exchanged glances with us. I thought Aida was my name? Why did he say that my name was Aira?

The two of us looked at each other. Because I was annoyed with him, I stepped on his foot under the table. He's really the one to give us reason to get caught!

"Ah..." he scratched his head and laughed, "I just bit my tongue so I said Aira, but her name is really Aida."

His cousins smiled. Wyatt seemed to convince them, because they just nodded.

"Let's order," Cynthia said, then raised her hand to call the waiter.

After we ordered, we just chatted until the food arrived.

"Wow, you really look like Aiden," Criza suddenly spoke up. "If Aiden were just a girl, I might think she's the one in front of me right now."

I simply glanced at Wyatt before I said, "Not too much."

"Don't tell me you're Aiden's twin?" Cynthia asked.

I immediately shook my head and said, with a wave of my hand, "No. Uhm... Maybe we just really look alike."

"Wyatt's childhood best friend is Aiden, so maybe he also looked for someone who looks like Aiden," Marcus joked.

I just pretended to laugh, even though the conversation was awkward for me. I probably look like Aiden because that’s me! But of course I can't tell them that if I don't want to get caught. Also, it's embarrassing because they might think I'm a pervert because I wear women's clothes. Sigh.

"It's good that my cousin chose this girl," Ryan said, laughing.

"Of course, I'm handsome, so I need a girlfriend who's beautiful," Wyatt boasted in response.

Ah, really? I'm beautiful, so why did you make me your girlfriend?

"Hmp!" Criza pouted. "I suddenly missed Aiden. I'm used to the fact that whenever Wyatt is invited to eat outside, he's always with him."

Just because of that, do you miss me? Maybe you like me too?

"Hey, Criza, watch your mouth," Regie warned."Aida is here, but our word of mouth is Aiden; maybe later Aida will be jealous of him."

Huh? Why should I be jealous of myself?

"That's right, let's just forget about Aiden for this day," Wyatt said.

Wait, let me introduce his cousins first. Marcus is the oldest of their cousins and will soon graduate from college. Ryan, on the other hand, is the second-to-oldest; he is in his third year of college, and he's attending the same school that Marcus attends. Regie and Cynthia are about the same age as Wyatt and I, and we both attend the same school. We are still in our first year of college. Criza is the youngest of all; she is only in grade 11.

Regarding Wyatt's cousin who confessed to me that he liked me, it was Regie. I don't know if the bad wind caused him to suddenly confess.

[Flashback]

We were doing homework in the garden of Wyatt’s house. We were accompanied by his cousins Cynthia and Regie, who had homework that was similar to ours.

We first decided to rest for 15 minutes because Wyatt was tired of answering. Wyatt and Cynthia left to get cookies and juice inside the house, while Regie and I were left in the garden.

"A-Aiden," he uttered.

I turned to him and asked, "Why? Oh, are you sick?" I touched his forehead when I noticed his face was red. "You're not hot," I said.

"Uhm... here," he said, handing me a small piece of paper, which I accepted.

The paper was folded, so I still had to unfold it so I could see what was inside. My eyes widened when I read what was written there.

"I like you." The letter says.

I turned to Regie and saw that his face was very red.

"What's t-this?" I asked.

"There's something written there; can't you read it?" He asked back.

"No, what I mean is, why is there a note saying I like you here?" I sighed.

He turned to me and said, "Because I like you."

"What?!" My brows furrowed. "You can't like me; I'm a guy like you."

"I know..." His face saddened, and he avoided looking at me.

"I'm sorry, Regie. I can't return your feelings for me," I said.

"It's okay," he nodded, "the important thing is that I finally said how I feel."

"I'm sorry..."

[End of Flashback]

That happened when we were in Grade 11. Maybe what Regie felt towards me was just infatuation because we were young. Maybe he just enjoyed being with me, and he just misinterpreted how he felt. It's been two years, so maybe he doesn't have feelings for me anymore. Regie is a good friend, and I like him as a friend, and that’s it. Not that I hate it because we're both men, but because I haven't even thought about entering into a relationship.

I've seen two men dating, and there's nothing wrong with that. They look even better to stare at than a toxic relationship, just like the ones we are watching today in the restaurant. Really? They are fighting in a public place?

"I told you to break up with her, but you didn't do it!" The woman shouted.

"Hey, calm down. A lot of people are already watching," said the man, trying to calm the woman down.

"What's calmed down? You think when I cheat on you, you'll calm down, huh?!" The woman shouted again.

"Please..." the man looked around as if ashamed of what his girlfriend was doing.

"Show me your girl, now!" The woman shouted.

Because of their noise, the staff at the restaurant approached them and forced them out. That's better because they are bothering the people who are eating.

If I were to enter into a relationship, I would not do what the woman did. What does she want to show, and why does she have to scandalize in a public place? To embarrass her partner? That's lame. They can talk about that privately.

"Hey, are you okay?" Wyatt whispered to me.

I turned to him, "Hmm? Yes, why?"

“We can go home if you feel uncomfortable,” he said.

I looked at his cousins as they talked about the woman and man who had been fighting earlier, then I turned my gaze back to Wyatt.

"We can finish the meal before leaving; it's embarrassing for your cousins," I replied.

He nodded and smiled at me and said, "Okay."

After dinner, we said goodbye and went home. Criza suggested that we all take a picture before we go home because this is the first time that Wyatt introduces someone to them. We didn't refuse, and we agreed to take pictures. Marcus added that he would call Wyatt when they decided to eat outside again.

When we got home to the condo, I immediately undressed and went straight to the bathroom to take a shower. After me, Wyatt took a bath. I was answering questions in my workbook when I felt Wyatt sitting next to me.

Okay, I'm just curious. We use the same body wash, but why does it smell nicer when it comes from Wyatt? Geez.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

I rolled my eyes. Isn’t it obvious what I’m doing?

"Are you blind?" I asked sarcastically.

He laughed because of what I said: "How were you before? Are you okay?"

I nodded. "I feel fine, because I already know them."

"Ah, right," he whispered to himself.

I was surprised when he suddenly pulled out the workbook I was answering. I turned to him and stared at him. Goodness, isn't he tired? Will this man tease me again?

"Give it back," I commanded.

He shook his head and said, "I don't want to."

My eyebrows met, and I tried to reach my workbook. He stood up and lifted the workbook into the air. Damn it. How can I reach that goal? I'm small; I'm only up to his chest.

"Give it back to me, Wyatt. It's not funny," I said.

"Reach for it. When you reach it, I won't tease you for a week," he said.

"You think I'll believe it? Give it back!" I said then jumped to reach the workbook.

Instead of getting the workbook. Wyatt and I both fell to the floor. I'm on his top while he's laying on the floor with his hand still raised.

I sat on his stomach and said, "Give that back to me."

He averted his eyes before throwing my workbook in my face. He even pushed me so he could stand up.

It hurts, ha!

"Don't answer that for today. Let's just watch a movie," Wyatt said, and he went to my room. When he came out, he was holding a DVD, which he inserted into the DVD player.

I sighed and did nothing but follow his wishes. I also can't concentrate if I continue to answer. Maybe I'll just continue it tomorrow.

The show has already started. Wyatt got up, took some food from the refrigerator, and set it down on the table in front of us. We eat while watching.

We're already in the midst of watching the two stars exchange saliva.I winced because they've been kissing for too long.

"Aish, enough already." I said it angrily.

How many minutes do they plan to do that? Tch.

Wyatt laughed and turned to me, saying, "You don't have any experience with kissing yet?"

I turned to him with a frown and said, "I haven't even had a girlfriend yet, and you expect me to have an experience?"

He shrugged. "That's true."

"How about you? Do you already have experience?" I asked.

"Hmm..." he smiled, "Yes, when I still had a girlfriend."

I looked back at the TV and said, "Okay." I answered, and no one spoke.

What we are watching is over. I picked up the remote to turn off the TV. As I stared at the TV, I remembered the scene where the two stars were kissing.

"So, how does it feel?" I asked while staring at the TV.

"Huh?" Wyatt, who looks confused.

I turned to him and asked, "How did you feel when you kissed your girlfriend?"

"How does that feel?" He was still confused by the question.

Tch. Why did I even bother to ask this man? Handsome but has a slow brain.

I threw the throw pillow at him before standing up. "Nevermind," I said. I had already crossed over my foot on his thigh to leave when he suddenly grabbed my wrist, causing me to stop. My position now is that his thigh is in the middle of my two legs. "Why?" I asked.

"Wanna try it?" He asked.

My two eyebrows met, and I withdrew my hand from him. "Huh? Are you nuts?"

He laughed softly, "Why? You want to know how it feels, don't you? I forgot how it felt, so I want to try it again."

"But we're both men," I replied.

He tilted his head and said, "So what? Come here," he pulled me, causing me to sit on his lap.

My two legs are open!

Because of our position, my face immediately turned red. "H-Hey—" but I couldn't finish what I was going to say when he suddenly kissed me.

At first, I didn’t return his kisses out of panic. But eventually, I followed his lips. He bit my lip to get his tongue inside my mouth. He twisted his tongue and seemed to invite my tongue to do what he was doing.

I mimicked the movement of his tongue. For a few more seconds, I felt like I was getting drunk on his kiss, as if I didn't want to stop it. I felt Wyatt's hand caress my back until he inserted his hand inside my shirt. He's now touching my skin.

"Hmp~" I moaned. His palm feels hot.

Damn. Why is my heart beating so fast?

After a few minutes, Wyatt parted our lips. He looked at my eyes for a moment before he hugged me and put his head on my shoulder.

"Ugh, fuck," he cursed.
