Chapter 3

Aiden's Point of View

"So, what are the rules you want to put in the contract, hmm?" He parted the hair that blocked my eyes while still smiling.

I averted my eyes. Why does our position seem to be like a couple's?

I moved away from him a little before saying, "Hmm... Wait, how long will I have to pretend to be your girlfriend?"

Wyatt looked at the ceiling as if thinking, "I'm not sure yet. I don't know how many times Grandpa will summon you."

"Can't I really be noticed?" I asked, "They already know my face so well that it's impossible for them not to recognize me."

He smiled, "Take it easy; you should always think positively."

"I'm still nervous," I said and looked up.

Wyatt and I have been friends for a long time, and his family has known me since we were children. It’s vague enough that they won’t notice or recognize that I’m his girlfriend when our pretending lasts. So about three or two meetings should be okay. Because if this continues for up to a month, oh no! We will really be caught then. They will know that it is all just an act.

"Aiden, there's only one rule I want to put in the contract," he said.

I turned to him, "What is it?" I asked.

Is that the kiss I said? Thank goodness we're both men, so it's impossible that it will happen. If it's holding hands, hmm... we can definitely do that in front of his family because I'm going to pretend to be his girlfriend, right? What was this man thinking?

He laughed out loud before replying, "You can't fall in love with me." He replied, then laughed out loud again.

What the heck? As if I will!

Annoyed by the loudness of his laughter, I kicked him, causing him to fall on the bed.

He grabbed his back as his face writhed in pain. "Ouch! Damn, it hurts, man! Why did you kick me?"

I threw a pillow at him before answering, "The loudness of your laughter irritates me."

"Just simply because of that?" It closed its eyes because of the pain and slowly stood up.

"I'm going to cook. What do you want to eat?" I stood up as well and ignored Wyatt's growl.

"You," he replied.

I immediately turned to him and looked at him, asking, "Are you a cannibal?"

He laughed out loud then approached me, saying, "It feels really good to tease you, Aiden." He hugged me and said, "You look like a woman."

I was surprised when he said, "You look like a woman," so I suddenly kicked his manhood. Because of what I did, he got on his knees while holding on to his manhood.

"Ugh, damn! Why do you tend to hurt?!" He whined.

"It's your fault," I said, and left him there. I went straight to the kitchen and prepared the dishes.

He knows how sensitive I am to that word. I don't want to be told that, even though I'm aware that I really look like a woman.

Because of my face, many men approach me and tease me for looking like a woman. Sometimes, they even teased me that I might be gay. Also, because of my face, my uncle almost raped me. That's why I hate my face. I also don't like my body because I look more feminine.

There are women who like me, but when I reject them, I just hear them say, "Maybe he's really gay. It looks like he's not really interested in women." And there's also, "Maybe his best friend Wyatt is whom he really wants; they're always together, aren't they?" Then they will laugh.

The truth of the matter is, I'm not really interested in anyone. If I want to marry someone, it might be my study. I hate dating. Not because I've experienced heartbreak, but because of what I watch in movies. Just watching them be left, cheated on, and promised by their partners is already painful. What if I experienced it myself? So, as much as possible, I don’t want to fall for anyone.

"Hey!"

I jumped in surprise when Wyatt suddenly appeared behind me. I almost cut my finger in shock. Aish, this guy.

“Get out of here; I’m going to cook,” I said.

He hugged me from behind and said, "Are you mad? I'm sorry~ I didn't mean to say that. It just came out of my mouth."

My two eyebrows met. So, what does he want to say? I really look like a woman? Is that why he suddenly blurted out that I look like a woman?

I elbowed his side, causing him to moan, "Get out of here; I'm cutting!"

"I don't want to until you forgive me," he insisted.

I just gasped. The stubbornness of this man, really. "Fine! Apology accepted. Get out of here and just sit there on the couch."

"Okay~" then he turned away. Hoo, finally.

I just breathed a sigh of relief when he left and went to the living room to watch TV.

After we ate, we watched YouTube videos on how to do makeup. After I followed the instructions on how to do that, I looked in the mirror.

"What the fuck?" The word that just came out of my mouth as Wyatt laughed so hard that he's holding his stomach, as if he's about to pass out from laughter.

I don't look like a human. I look like a ghost! My face was so white that it looked like it had been dipped in flour. My brows were so thick that they looked like leeches. My cheeks were so red, it was as if I had been slapped multiple times. and so much lipstick on my lips that you'd think I'd been stung by three bees.

"Y-You're beautiful, BWAHAHA..." Wyatt said while still laughing.

What did he think of me, a fool? I know he's just teasing me. Hmp!

I got up and went to the sink to wash up. I don't know how many times we've tried to do this, but nothing has changed. There is only one outcome—ugliness!

After I washed, I sat down next to Wyatt and said, "I don't think we can do this. Can you just find a real woman? Why did you even think of me?"

He turned to me and said, "There's actually a girl I like, but she called me a boy."

I laughed and said, "Why don't you just ask her?"

"Do you think she would agree?" He asked me.

I shrugged. "Duh, I don't know. Why are you asking me?"

"You're the one who suggested it!" And then he pushed me jokingly.

Who does he like? I'm curious.

I just shrugged at the thought. I have no idea, and it looks like he has no intention of telling me who. I'll just wait until he decides to tell me.

"Let's put on makeup later; I'll try these clothes first," I said, taking a dress from the ones we bought.

He smiled and said, "Sure, sure."

I took off my t-shirt and put on a floral dress. It's just right for my body; it's just obvious that I'm a man because I don't have breasts like women.

"Wow, flat," Wyatt growled.

I threw a paper bag at him and ignored him. I wore a wig as well as heels. I almost fell when I put it on. Can't I just wear shoes? Why do I need to wear heels? Tch.

I turned to Wyatt and crossed my arms, asking, "How do I look?"

He turned to me and looked at me from head to toe. When he looked at my face for a long time, he immediately blushed. He covered his face and bowed. What the-

"Damn it! Why are you so beautiful?" He whispered, but I heard that.

I bit my lower lip, and it seemed like all the blood in my body had risen to my face. Damn, what is he saying? I haven't even put on makeup yet, and I'm a man, for Pete's sake!

I immediately turned away from him, and for a few minutes we were silent until Wyatt's cell phone rang.

“I’ll just take a shower,” he said.

When I turned to him, I saw him already standing and going to the bathroom. When he finally got inside, it was only then that I breathed a sigh of relief. But my face still seems to be red. And when I touched it, I wasn't mistaken, because it was still hot. For further confirmation, I picked up the compact mirror we bought. Damn it, why is my face so red? I look like a tomato! Luckily, Wyatt didn't see it; he might just tease me.

I was putting away the things I had scattered when I was fitting earlier, when Wyatt had finished taking a shower. I turned to him and saw him go straight to my room.

After I left, Wyatt came out of my room fully dressed. Is he going somewhere? Anyway, you might think he's wearing my clothes. Of course not; he's not wearing my clothes because he actually has clothes here in the condo because he stays here often. It was as if he already lived here.

I sat on the couch and turned on the TV to watch.

"Oh, right! My cousins asked me to go to the bar," Wyatt informed me, even though I didn't care.

I raised an eyebrow and said, "So? Why are you informing me? I don't care at all."

"I'm supposed to bring my girlfriend," he said with a big smile on his face.

What the fuck?!

My eyes widened in shock, and I immediately stood up.

How did his cousins find out he had a girlfriend? And wait! I thought we would just pretend in front of his mom, dad, and grandpa? Why are his cousins now involved? Don't tell me that after that he will also introduce me to his whole family?

Aish, this jerk!

"Are you crazy? I don't want to! We're just talking about your family!" I shouted.

"They're my family too, aren't they?" he replied.

"No! I don't want to!" I sat down again and crossed my arms.

If he wants, he can just search for someone. Shit, no way in hell I'm going to face his cousins. They know me too! And one of his cousins confessed to me that he liked me.

"Ey~ come on, man! Just today," Wyatt said as he approached me. He knelt down in front of me and held my hand. "Just once, hmm?"

I shook my head and said, "When I say no, no. Don't force me."

"Ahh~ please, Aiden."

I pulled my hand from his grip and crossed my arms again, saying, "I said no, Wyatt. Also, you know I don't want to go to crowded places, but you still want to take me there?"

"Okay, I'll tell them to just meet at the mall. How's that, hmm? Is it okay? Is that okay?" He asked and smiled like a child.

"Aish!" I just rolled my eyes and did nothing but give up. "Fine. Just once and never again!"

He stood up with a wide smile on his lips and said, "Got it!"

"Wait," I said, when I thought of something. "What shall I say in my name?"

He sat down next to me and crossed his legs, saying, "Hmm... Aiden... Oh, what about Aida?" He turned to me excitedly.

I rolled my eyes and said, "So lame."

He frowned and said, "You choose, then!"

Pfft~

"I don't know; I can't think of anything. Let's just not go," I said.

"Let's just go with Aida!" He insisted, "Aida, Aira, Ailyn, and Irish, just choose!"

I shrugged and said, "I don't know."

We still went there. The venue changed, and it was no longer at the bar because Wyatt told his cousins he didn’t want to bring his girlfriend to the bar. Luckily, his cousins agreed.

I just put powder on my face and put on lipstick. We didn’t even bother to put on makeup because it might catch us early in the morning with repeated fixes. I wore an off-shoulder top that I paired with a skirt and rubber shoes. Since I was not used to walking in heels, I forced Wyatt to just wear shoes. It matches what I'm wearing, so it looks okay. We almost forgot the wig earlier, but thankfully he noticed before we even got out of the condo.

We entered the restaurant and were asked if we had a reservation. Wyatt simply said his cousin's name and guided us there. Wyatt waved when he saw his cousins Ryan, Regie, Cynthia, Marcus, and Criza. When we got closer, Wyatt pulled a chair for me before he sat down. Wow, he sure can act, huh?

I simply smiled as Wyatt's cousins stared at me.

"Wow, you're not even with Aiden right now, but it looks like you're still with him," Marcus laughed. He told Wyatt something that I did not understand.

Regie nodded as he looked at me and asked, "Do you know his best friend, Aiden?" He asked me.

I nodded, "Y-Yeah."

Damn it. I really need to lower my voice so they won't notice that I'm a man. Then what's wrong with me? Why do they ask if I know myself?

To relieve my nervousness, I took the glass on the side and drank from it.

"You look like him," Regie said, laughing, causing me to spit out the water I was drinking.

Damn it. Are we... Caught?
