Oprah slipped out of Burgess's embrace, adjusted her robe, and picked up her phone to end the call.

Burgess observed her every move closely.

"Nuisance call," Oprah said, looking back at him. "Weren't you about to tell me how we met? Let me fetch some wine. We can have a good talk."

She decided to cut to the chase and solve it immediately.

This way, she could leave the country immediately.
