Chapter 65

AVA

"Ava."

   I inhale at the sound of his voice. One week without hearing this voice was hell for me. I can't even remember how I lived through the torments of each night. They were the worse nights of my life.

" Asa."

" What do you want?" The harshness in his voice reminds me of how much I fucked up. How much I ruined the good times we had together. I'm pretty sure he hates me now. 

   The corners of my eyes stings with tears and I'm gonna cry.

  I sob. " I'm sorry."

   I hear him sigh on the other end of the line. He's quiet and I'm guessing he's thinking if he should talk to me or ignore me like I deserve.

" Bye, Ava."

" Ace please." He hangs up. Right before I can even say 'Ace please.'
