Chapter 23

Kimberly:

After I had found a little sleep I was awakened by a strange noise, and then I realized it was coming from Ethan's room. He was with her after we had shared a passionate kiss.

Overwhelmed with sadness, I felt the tears welling up and pouring down my cheeks, I was unable to contain the sinking feeling in my chest. I fell to the weight of my emotions, allowing the tears to drench my pillow as I cried myself into a restless sleep, his name lingering on my lips.

Waking up the next morning with a banging headache, I went downstairs to get a cup of coffee. I saw Anna and the moment our eyes met she had this smug look on her face that I wanted to brush away with a slap.
