Chapter 29

Octavious and I were walking beside each other as we walked into the large home. As always, it was silent, clear of anyone and sparkling clean. I felt both brain dead and in shock. I couldn’t believe that Jessalyn was dead and that everything had come crashing down only minutes away from my eternal freedom. 

I wasn’t walking next to Octavious because I wanted to, but because I wanted to make sure I listen to everything he tells me or else it’s going to be a long night. I was dreading being alone in a room with him because I was afraid of what he would do to me.
