GINA

They were serious. After quick instruction on what I was expected to do, they left me in the room, closing and locking the door behind them.

“WHAT ABOUT FOOD?” I yelled.

No one responded.

I sat on the bed in the corner for a while contemplating my situation. I should have run with Jericho when I had the chance.

Eventually I rose and made my way over to the desk to see what kind of archives they wanted me to sort. The chair at the desk was irritably uncomfortable. They did that on purpose, I’m certain. Give me an uncomfortable chair to sit in while I work as part of my punishment for my defiance.

This became my life. Locked away in this room, with piles of files, and food delivered 3 times per day. I was never let out. Never being able to shift and run through the forest. For the next several weeks, I never saw anyone besides Silas, Quinten, and my guards who dropped off my meals. I never even found out what happened to Karli. I hope she’s alright, and didn’t suffer so
