The car door opened and a high heel clicked the ground. Mia stood in the doorway as Scarlet walked out of the car. She had a wide smile painted on her face, her fingers clasped around the bag in her hand, She closed the door and stepped forwards. Mia greeted her with a hug.
“It has been a long time since we have met like this,” said Mia.
Scarlet chuckled lightly. Mia released her from the hug and held her from the shoulders.
“WHere is my surprise? I am dying to know what it is?” said Mia in a desperate voice.
“Oh! The surprise?” Scarlet pressed her lips and held her smile. She slowly turned around and pointed at the car.
