I used to believe in God.

Naniniwala ako na as long as I trust in him, be good, and pray hard enough, ibibigay n’ya lahat nang hinihiling ko. Malalampasan ko ang lahat ng mga pagsubok sa buhay kung magtitiwala ako sa kanya, dahil walang imposible sa Diyos.

Ipinagdasal ko na mapansin ako ng crush ko na si Nathan, at sinagot n’ya ang kahilingan ko. But I let him down because of my own stupidity. Natakot ako’ng mapagalitan at mawalan ng scholarship. Dahil doon, nabali-wala lahat ng blessings ni God sa akin. At sa huli, iniwasan niya ako at ipinagpalit sa iba.

I prayed again, ’Please, please, God, let us get back together again, show me a sign!’

And he answered me with a phone call. Inisip ko noon, binigyan ako ni God ng bagong chance. `Di ko akalain na demonyo pala ang sumagot sa dasal ko.

You see, I used to believe in God.

But he let me down.

So why bother being nice, when being naughty is so much more fun?
