Chapter 23 Feedback
"Feedback?" Marino's dry chuckle came through the line, "I call you and the first thing you ask is a feedback? Not even a how are you doing? Or are you okay?"
Rosetta rolled her eyes, "What's the use of the niceties? You're okay or fine, that's your business. You're not okay or fine, still your business. Since when did you care about my concern for you?"
A brief silence from Marino then, "Don't worry about it. Feedback? We'll have to see for that."
She grew excited, "Did you get anything?"
"We'll have to see to discuss that."
She sighed, her happiness deflating. Marino was a pain in the neck.
"I'm an hour and 30 minutes away from Colland."
"Why? Visiting someone?"
"My family. I would have said today but I don't think I would be allowed to return, when I return, I'll see you."
"Fine." Was Marino's curt reply and the line went dead.
