Lucy’s POV

I find it difficult to sleep after watching that interview. The thought of the fact that there are people out there who hate me this much is deeply unsettling.

So I lay in bed for a few hours, tossing and turning, and fighting the urge to check social media to see if people are vilifying me on account of those two.

I’m just about to finally drift off to sleep when there’s a soft knock on the door of my hotel room. When I open the door, Nathan is standing there with a worried look on his face.

Immediately, I realize that he must have seen the interview that Amy and Austin did, and is here to check up on me.

He's still dressed in the clothes that he wore to the meeting this morning, so I know that he’s just getting back to the hotel since I left the meeting earlier that evening.

“Hey, you’re just getting back? Welcome.” I tell him, smiling to show that I'm okay, but even I know that the smile is very weak.
