Chapter 25 – Samantha the snake

Gabriel’s eyes almost fell out as they were filled with shock and admiration.

“You mean?” He needed the details of the matter, knowing that his company had been saved by Maeve. It was unexpected since he was just slowly beginning to trust her. It had not reached the level of completion.

Before Maeve could answer, his phone began to ring. Some were calls from board members, so he muted them. Then the landline began to ring, and messages dropped from all angles.

Gabriel was certain that the press release would address all their concerns, so he did not need to speak to them individually.

He was also grateful that his board members were far away except Reginald, who he had spoken to earlier and told that he was going to get to the bottom of it. At that time, Gabriel had no idea what exactly was going on.
