Chapter 21: Trigger Warning

I stood up when the door of the room suddenly opened. I was just sitting on the edge of the bed, contemplating what to do. As Rodrigo had said, he didn't kick me out of the house. He even didn't allow me to go to school today. I wanted to visit my friends, but I couldn't do anything about it because no matter how much I pleaded, he wouldn't let me.

Rod hurriedly entered and went straight into the bathroom. I let out a sigh of relief when I didn't see him anymore. I sat back on the bed and held my chest. It seemed like Rodrigo's mood wasn't good again. I wonder what happened?

I remained in my position for a few moments. Rodrigo didn't come out of the bathroom either, so I felt somewhat relieved. I needed to convince him to let me go out. I needed to know how Lana was doing. I couldn't calm down. Did Lawrence manage to save her? Is Lana doing well? I had so many questions, and they could only be answered if I saw them.
