Chapter 14

? Adrian's POV ?

Mum fainted.

"Cassie!", Dad called and rushed over to mum's side.

"Mum!", Aiden and I shouted but Mum wasn't responding.

"Someone get the ambulance!", Dad shouted to no one is particular and Aiden picked his phone to make the call. " Cassie", Dad called again.

The ambulance arrived and Mum was carried to the hospital. Dad, Aiden and I took a car and followed the ambulance to the hospital. 

We waited outside the emergency ward for the doctors to be through with attending to Mum. None of us could say a word, we just stood waiting. I was silently sending prayers above for my Mum to be safe.

The doctor, a man probably in his late fifties with brown hair having a few strands of grey and putting on a lab coat, came over and we moved closer to him.

"How is she?", Dad asked impatiently.

"Calm down, Mr Kendall. Your wife is perfectly okay. She just had a heart attack but it's just a minor one. She is currently asle
