When nightfall came Tony was all ready. The shipment was to take place at the Capetown International Airport.
The team and I were standing by,waiting to see sudden motion. An Italian looking man wearing a black jacket carried a case with him,he put it near Tony.
“Where’s the cash?” he said. The man looked at Tony for a while then took out his gun,he began to shoot. The people screamed, security guards ran to where the gun was fired. Mika and Katleho took separate routes to follow the Italian,I grabbed Tony who was shot in the stomach, fortunately he had a bulletproof vest on. Sam kept on giving directions on where to go. He was our guide. “Am I going to die”Tony asked. “Not if you go with us” I replied. Then drove him to the safe house. “I need to help my team, they need me.”I shouted “No their fine.Keep an eye on the prisoner,as he is our only witness.” Sam replied. “We found him!” Mika yelled on the aWhen a child is born he or she is given a name by their parent or family relative. Each name has its own significance,it can either inspire or demotivate the child as they grow. When the child grows,he or she will receive a nickname from fellow peers.I was only 9 years old when I met the Juma freak Nduna . I was in the fourth grade,he was in the seventh grade, the oldest in his class, not because he was a slow learner but because he was enrolled late to school, very late and I still don’t know why. All the children feared him. He was tall, muscular with strong, huge gigantic hands that could put a child down with one slap. When I reached high school he was already in grade 12. He had turned into a real freak. His face was covered in piercings, his dreadlocks were long and dyed in orange. During lunch time he would sit with his girlfriend Dintle Sepheo, who was also in the same class as him. The two were inseparable and wicked. One Saturday night,my mother was working an extra shift,
“There was a point in time where I thought your mother Patricia was the only woman I could ever love, until I..”“What? Tell me!!”I shouted.“Lebo it was a mistake, I made a mistake marrying your mother!”“Huh why would you say such a thing?”I asked.“because your mother deserves a wonderful man, someone better than me. I had an affair with your aunt, whilst I was married to your mother and I never stopped loving her. That’s what made me leave.i couldn’t live with the guilt it was too much..i am sorry you had to find out this way..my child..I”“Save it!! How could you do this? Did you even love my mother?ugh!!” I shouted in anger. My father tried to explain but his insanity rose again,he laughed hilariously. I rushed to my room and began to pack all of my clothing. My cellphone was ringing in the kitchen table,I heard it but I didn’t want to answer it.I kept packing, tears falling down,my heart sinking from pain. I had no reason to
“from today you will stay under my protection until this man is captured. I can’t lose you.”“But I have a life,I have a…” I nearly said a boyfriend. But I chose to continue with the investigation. The following day we went to the GOH site to give Mr Phenyo an update on the case.“Very impressive.” Said Mr Phenyo, going through the updated details we had given him regarding the case.“With all due respect sir, but that is not impressive at all. The Freak played us, he knew where we would be and turned us into complete fools. He just knew how to beat us and now we don’t have him, we have nothing!” I voiced out.“But your planning is impressive. And now all you have to do is find him.”Suddenly Sheila entered.“Excuse me, but sir you need to see this.” she said, showing Mr Phenyo a live video on her phone.“Whats going on?” Mika asked.“Apparently, Mr Livingstone and his family have been murdered last night in their hom
I always disliked anything that related to spiritualism. It frightened me somehow. My mother believed that spirits existed, she would tell me that while some were evil, some were good.“Pray very hard before you sleep and don’t light a matchstick in the presence of a ghost it will slap you hard.” she would say.I thought my mother was only trying to scare me and indeed she did manage to scare me. Such stories played a big role in how I thought as a child. I was afraid of being alone. I spend most of my time surrounded by people, I did anything to avoid seeing or hearing a ghost or a spirit. When I became older I enjoyed my lone life, it was peaceful. I did not want anyone to bother me and my fear of ghosts had disappeared. I felt brave. “Hey” said Sam, giving me a wink while taking a sit beside me at the cafeteria. He knew how to cheer me up.i liked that.“Hello. Where’s the rest of the team?&rdquo
Sam and I went to Veronica’s home. She was at the lounge, taking small sips of her coffee. Eyes were without makeup, she looked like nothing on Television. Her eyes had bags under them, her wrinkles were visible. We cant underestimate makeup artists, they really do work hard. The time and the effort they put in to ensure that our lovely hosts look ten years younger than they actually are is a true work of art.Veronica must startled to see us.“How did you get into my house?!” she shouted“Relax, we wont hurt you. We actually need your help.” I said“You still haven’t answered my question!”“the door was wide open, anyone could have come in. Fortunately we are not the bad guys. We wont harm you.” said Sam.Suddenly Katleho and Mika also entered, they were accompanied by Xoliswa.“Are you also with them?” Veronica asked.
When I was still 9, I used to ask my mother to buy me candy whenever she went out. I didn’t really pay attention to her where she was going but I knew that she would be back with the candy. She would always yell at me for touching my clothes because that is what I would often do whenever I had finished eating. I irritated my mother a lot and I guess that is a part of being a child. And no matter how often we annoy our parent's, they continuously show us love.“Miss Mokoena!” Mr Phenyo shouted. I almost got a heart attack.“Sir?”“The GOH is improving on security, each agent must go to the control room to have their data recaptured. Make sure that you go there as soon as possible." Mr Phenyo instructed.“Thank you Sir. I will do that right away." “Go to the Lab. Ben will assist you” Mr Phenyo said, walking towards his office.I was surprised to see that he c
Mika and I asked to see the footage of that entire night. The head of security fortunately still had it. No one had stolen the evidence. We looked over the footage, repeatedly but still found nothing.“This is not helpful. Mrs Caseem must know something.” I said.“We should abduct her, that way she’ll tell us what we need to know.” Mika suggested. But stealing her would be dangerous, we needed her to survive,we needed a doctor to keep her alive.“But what if she dies suddenly,we are not doctors.” I said.“What about the doctor that was treating your father?”“Doctor Simmons! But can she be trusted?" I wondered."We can check her credentials. Know anyone who can help us quickly?"I contacted Mr Phenyo right away.“Sir I need your help!”“Speak!” Mr Phenyo replied.“Can you please check if
“Fine! My name is Paul. I am part of the Sevens Brothers, I just recently joined. I was given my first mission to steal a baby with eight legs. And don’t ask who, because that’s all I was told.”The Sevens Brothers again! How many are they and why cant we seem to find them?” Mika shouted angrily.“The Sevens Brother’s are everywhere. You cant find them, but they will find you. New members have to wear a mask until they complete their first mission. That is why I don’t know their place.”“Then you are not useful at all to us.Let’s kill him.” said Mika. Grabbing the thief by the neck.“No! Tell us more,we need more.”The thief was gagging for air, trying to speak.“Let him go”.“The man who sent me told me its a favour for his doctor friend.I didn’t bother asking much, because that’s not what we real
