The benign influence of pure air covered the entire Montagu area, unlike the contaminated air of Joburg city where I came from. The city of gold had left me with bittersweet memories I chose to wipe out from my mind, however there was one thing I could not seem to forget which was my mother’s cooking. I especially loved the manner in which she would prepare ”bohobe” they call it in my Sotho language. Made from a combination of flour, yeast, and sugar, served with my favourite boerewors, minced meat combined with spices and wrapped with animal skin into a long roll. Deep down I knew that she would do alright on her own. She was a sophisticated, strong, independent woman who was capable of taking care of herself. “If your father gives you any troubles, you call me alright!” Said my mother, with a compassionate look on her face. She somehow still saw me as her little girl. A part of me wanted to burst out laughing but I kept my self at ease. “I will be okay. Don't worry yourself nee

Professor Phenyo had an obvious charm to him, he was tall, dark and had great confidence, but there was one thing I disliked about him, he was a very secretive man which made me question his intentions. To prevent conflict I put my head down, but still remained weary.“I hope you know the reason for being here, I also hope you are willing to work together as being a part of this organisation requires individuals who are willing to work as a team, no one works alone, that is why the board has paired you all. “Mr Phenyo announced. All the initiates, including myself were each given a partner to work with. My partner was a serious looking, tall man by the name of Mika Ludik, who was originally from Moscow. The Russian man had effective skills in bomb making and weapon design, he previously worked in the Russian military for two years and had achieved approximately 100 kills within the two year duration in the military.“Why did you retire so early in the  military?” I inq

Ben and I drove to a private hospital in Capetown. The receptionist attended both Ben and me then led us to ward 9,Room C where my father was laying.“Oh my God, I thought I had lost you. What happened?” I cried. My father smiled, “I’m fine that’s all that matters, Can I speak to Ben alone please my darling it won’t be long”I protested inside my heart but I chose to respect my father’s wish. “You good old mate?” Ben asked.I walked out of the room, leaving the two men to their own privacy.15 minutes later Ben left my father’s room. He dared not to cry even though he had tears in his eyes.“Ben what’s wrong?” I ask curiously.“Nothing, Chris needs to rest, the nurse said he will get discharged tomorrow.” “Then I’m staying” I saidBen looked at me with pity. “ok then, I’m also staying, Chris is my closest friend and you have become like a daughter to me. I wont let you go through this alone. I am staying. No arguments” “Can I trust

Mika and I attended the meeting at the GOH site.My father was there, his colleagues were there.Professor Phenyo was the host,as usual.  “Intern’s I called you all here to talk about a new case that has come up,which might also be a chance for you to show how badly you want to become agent’s. You heard right I said becoming agent’s. You first have to become agent’s before you become guardian’s. An agent solves paranormal crime’s using technology alone but a guardian solves crimes using both technology and power’s which you will learn should you choose to become guardian’s. As you know there had been weird events occurring online. Many of our young people victims of an evil church called the United Angels of God Church and we believe a very dangerous woman by the name of Bella Santos is involved in this. Your job as the intern’s is to try and locate the people who are operating the church, while the Guardians work on finding Bella”Said.Professor Phenyo. “Thank you

My nose was itching,I felt goosebumps all over my body,I always felt like that whenever I was near Mr Phenyo but I wouldn’t admit to my true feelings, not even Mika knew how I felt even as I had grown fond of him enough to call him a friend. The day was well spent . After taking a hot bath,I sat on the couch with my father, feeling the warmth on my skin.“If I was not ignorant,I could have long rid of Belinda.said my father. Angrily, throwing his newspaper on the coffee table. “You don’t have to get yourself upset over that woman”“I gave that woman a room to stay in here in the house,She loved it and I was glad. One boring day,I sent her to the store to collect my white fured blazer from the dry cleaner.Whilst she was away I had planned to surprise her since it was her birthday.I had bought a cake, chocolate flavoured and a pot of roses, her favourite flowers. I slowly opened the door of the room, what I saw was shocking, odious sight.I saw a group of black gigantic fli
