16- A day in Hell

After pulling my last straw of patience and drawing out the unwanted actions from me, I cleared my mind a bit and realized I shouldn’t have slapped her, I could have talked to her about it and made her understand about the importance of food rather than becoming infuriated but I couldn’t help as her action evoked unwanted memories which I am trying to forget but now I don’t think I can. The miserable life given by humans to a life bound with one… just how unpleasant it sounds.

I paced around the room and after thinking about my action for a while, I knew I shouldn’t have raised my hand against her and went back to her room. She was obviously scared to see me. Her breath became rapid, she crawled back as her back hit the wall.

“I-I didn’t m-mean to…” She said breathlessly, moving away, clutching her shirt tightly. I stopped, looking at how afraid she was of me
