The pool party is already ongoing, and as it should be, the lodge is empty.

Everyone moved to the pool spa already, all except Emory.

She's still unconscious, but Levi is with her.

Morgan's and Lizzy left for the party some minutes ago after Roonie assured them he's gonna stay with her.

Her health improved a lot, and her temperature went down already. Even her facial paleness is gone.

Roonie made sure to bandage her wrists again after treating it, and now he's stroking her hair gently, zero emotions on his face.

Her eyes peered open gently, and she was greeted by the red light in the room.

She squeezed her face, and Roonie took mercy by changing the light to white.

Immediately she saw his face, she spranged up and jumped down from the bed.

"What do you think you're doing here after almost getting me killed?" She glared hatefully.

"I'd say you're the one who almost got yourself killed. I chained you up for a reason" he replied easily without blinking, and she scoffed.

"How does that sound, huh? How does that sound motherfûcker! Do I look like your toy? You think you can do whatever you want? You have no right to chain me down!" She yelled, her eyes shooting laser beams.

"Would you stay in if I told you to stay?" He replied point-blank.

"When I'm not mad" she shot back.

"Of course, and chaining you down came in handy. You never fuçking listen" he replied.

"Why would I listen to you?" She raised her chest.

"You were locked in a fuçking freezer, and whoever it is is still lurking around so drop that attitude and fuçking listen" he snapped, and she only calmed down for a second before blowing up again.

"Why would you protect me? Did my family pay you or something? Tell me, Roonie!" She shot, and his brows rumpled.

"Noah" he called her second name.

"Don't call me that!" She shot and started bolting out of the room, but he dragged her back by the arm.

She broke free obstinately and started walking out again, but he grabbed her again, holding her two hands and folding it behind her so her chest pushed out and met with the wall.

"Let go of me! Get your hands off me" she exhaled, her breàsts mashing on the wall so much.

"Drop the attitude first" he replied, pressing his expansive chest knowingly on her backside.

He rubbed his lips on the shell of her ear, breathing down on her neck and licking her skin with his tongue tip.

"Stop that, Banks... You don't own me!" She said with shaky breaths, but he inhaled her in sensually before licking the skin on her neck again like a cat.

"I don't? Say that again" he breathed her in for the second time.

"Banks I'll kill you!" She shouted, hardening her bones.

"Kill me, fox" he replied hoarsely with a groan, pulling her hair so she faced the ceiling, and he licked her exposed cleavage.

"Fûck you!" She cursed, and he chuckled madly.

"Are you wet? Are your panties soaked, fox?" He whispered, making her shiver in her insides.

"In your fuçking dreams, motherfûcker" she replied, and he released her.

She ran out of the room, but he went after her immediately.

"You don't own me, and you never will!" She said as she rushed down the hall.

She could smell nothing but his scent on herself.

She just wants to get as far away from this devil as possible.

She rushed into the pool spar where the students are, and she stole all attention immediately.

Murmurs broke, but she doesn't care.

Rue, Juliet and Romeo are together, watching her with unhidden contempt.

Hyce and Axel are together too, and Hyce grinned when Pearl came in.

Morgan and Lizzy are with Isaac and Teal, and their eyes widened.

"OMG she's awake! Wifey!" Morgan shouted, Pearl is not even seeing her

Her eyes are on Jeremy who's coming in her direction too.

He's wearing a big turtleneck hood to cover the bruises he got from the snake coil, and he's smiling.

Pearl looked back, and when she saw Roonie coming in with his eyes on her, she smirked.

He doesn't own her, he needs to understand that.

Thankfully, she doesn't get triggered by Jeremy too, so the plan is just perfect.

She smiled at Jeremy when she got to him.

"Glad to see you're fin...

Jeremy couldn't finish his statement when Pearl pulled him in, crashing her lips on his own.

All eyes popped madly, especially Omar's.

It's like his legs left the ground, and he's currently flying on the galaxy.

He couldn't believe his eyes, and he couldn't close them either.

No movement though, Pearl only kept her lips on his, staying still like that, her eyes on Roonie.

Rue rose to her feet with a devilish smirk on her twisted lips, and Pearl's friends aren't exceptional.

Morgan almost fainted, and it was Lizzy who held her.

Hyce is smiling, but Axel is just downing the diluted cup of alcohol with him like he's not seeing what's going on.

Roonie didn't take the next step, he kept standing by the door, but he showed no emotions like Pearl expected.
