Axel left the hospital with bloody fist and lips.

Roonie is currently seated on the center couch with several boxes in front of him.

Buddy is sitting beside his leg on the ground, looking at him like he can hear his thoughts.

All the boxes are open, and all the contents are out as Roonie rummaged through everything, searching for something...

It's the most important possession he has

The only birthday gift he ever received.

Where could it be?

Since he came back from the hospital, he has been searching endlessly, but it's not showing up.

He even went to the mansion before coming here, but it's not there.

He pushed away the last box and stood, not understanding his feelings at all.

He's getting more and more aggressive, and he's not the type.

He never gets aggressive unless someone triggers it, but now, even the slightest things angers him.

Where did he hear the voice of the girl from?

What is everyone keeping from him?

Why was he shot in the head?

Where's the necklace?

Why is everyone keeping quiet?

It's sickening!

He left the center and went to the open hall.

He opened the first room which led to his personal gym, and after putting on his leather gloves fast, he started with the punching bag.

His head was banging and pounding at each punch he threw, but he didn't stop, even when headache started torturing him.

His sweat covered the black singlet he's wearing, dropping from his wet face too.

Blood dropped from his nose to the ground, and he felt like killing himself.

When did he become so weak?

"Roonie!" Nurse Layla's voice interrupted his session, and he sharply turned to see her rushing in.

He waited patiently like a predator till she got to him, then he grabbed her face, and the packing bag she's carrying fell from her hand.

She closed her eyes, expecting a kiss...

Roonie tried imagining something with her, just anything, but it didn't happen.

Her face looks distant despite their closeness, so he let her go, and she opened her eyes disappointedly.

"Why are you here, and how did you know the door passcode?" He questioned rigidly.

"Uncle Edward told me, and I've been assigned by the hospital to give you home treatment. I'll be staying here with you till you recover completely, and I brought you food" she smiled.

He stayed neutral, so she got tissues from her bag and made to wipe his bloody nose, but he took it and wiped himself.

He left the gym, and she followed him fast.

He fell on couch in the center, and she unpacked the bag of food she brought.

There are so many dishes, including cheese and salad.

"I'm a really good cook, so I'm sure you'll enjoy it" she said, scooping some salad in the fork.

She lifted it to his mouth, but he took the fork and ate it himself.

He made a sour face like he just ate poison.

"How's it?" She eagerly asked.

Without replying, he tasted the macaroni too, but he dropped the fork immediately.

"Too sweet" he said, standing and going upstairs.

Nurse Layla wiped the small tear at the corners of her eyes immediately.

Rebekah is not a fan of hand-washing, she has never done it all her life, but she did it to destress this morning.

She almost forgot about the clothes on the line till after dinner when she suddenly remembered.

She left for the open balcony at the other side of the mansion, and she was already done packing the clothes when she suddenly saw someone sleeping on one of the reclining sofas.

She was about to scream when she saw the face.

"Axel?"

She dropped the clothes with her in a bowl and rushed to him.

His lips is still wounded from the hospital fight.

"Axel" she called again, and his eyes opened, his smile coming automatically.

"Hey"

"Where did you get wounded? You're not the type" she said worriedly, touching the wound.

He held her hand to stop her, and she took it.

"I'll be right back"

She rushed down the balcony and came back three minutes later with a lip balm and bud.

"What's this?" He asked as she opened it.

"Healing lip balm, just let me apply. You can't keep going around with a wounded lip" she replied.

"Does that bother you" He replied, and their eyes locked.

"Now don't be so cocky" she said, and he chuckled.

"You like me cocky"

"Whatever"

She made to start applying, but he held her hand again...

"Axel ..."

"Axe... please" he replied with soft eyes and the seductively cool voice.

She blinked twice involuntarily, and he moved his hand to her neck, holding her firmly.

"Say it" he whispered, bringing his face closer.

Rebekah bit her lip...

"Axe" she replied, and that was all the invitation he needed.

He claimed her lips without waiting, and Rebekah dropped the balm and bud on the sofa.

Despite the wound on his lip, she kissed back so hard, and his lip bled into the kiss.

He adjusted his posture on the sofa, and she sat on his laps, wrapping her arms on his neck as the communication continued.

"Promise me..." She suddenly whispered.

"What?" He replied, hardening the kiss and slipping his hand under her skirt.

"You won't go near Sabrina anymore...." She replied, breaking the kiss.

"She was never a problem...she was a distraction which didn't work,... obviously" he whispered.

Rebekah smiled, kissing him slightly.

"But is this right? I mean... our parents are getting married soon" she whispered, dry-humping him as their lips hovered.

"I don't give a fûck." He replied, reconnecting their lips.

Rebekah moaned this time, and he finally dipped his hand completely under her.
