Chapter Forty

My emotions got the better of me, to a point I filled up the remaining distance between us and hugged him tightly.

Alvin kept the exact look on his face and asked, "Lisa!! Are you feeling okay!!! Is everything okay?".

I continued hugging him and after a while drifted away from him, "I am fine Alvin, I thought something had happened to you?". ( My words to him).

"Something like? I don't understand anything?". (He words out to me).

I buffed out a deep breath and explained everything to him, he shoots a warm smile and walks stright to the bed, sitting down.

"Aren't you going to say anything?". (I asked).

He lifts his head up and asked, "anything like what Lisa? You're asking strange, and I didn't know you cared about me" 

"Seriously!! You didn't know I cared about you? I am not heartless you know?".  ( Said, peeling off my jacket f
