Chapter: 3.
*****A TRIP INTO THE PAST. PT:1.******A helpless kitten was caught in a hunter's trap. He sat there whimpering and calling for help but after having sat there for nearly two hours he began to accept that no help was coming. His mother had told him not to go wandering around alone, they'd only just moved here and they weren't familiar with the grounds yet. The sixteen-year-old sat there crying and watching his leg bleed out. He has lost way too much blood already at this point he may even be losing a leg.Fuck, he should have listened to his mother. That regret was coming a little too late. Giving up on trying he lay in the damped grass and waited for death to take him. At least he would die with some dignity. He didn't know how long he lay there before a shadow loomed over him. Looking up he saw a pair of flaming-colored eyes staring back at him. It was the eyes of the Lycan he had heard so much about. Suddenly the impaled legs weren't hurting anymore as he grew terrified of the Lycan looming over him, the kitten was terrified of being eaten alive."Hey, little kitten." The male voice spoke softly but with an underlying growl. "Messy situation you're trapped in, huh." As he said that he gently grabbed onto his leg and pulled it toward himself. The injured cat was screaming by now but the Lycan ignored it all. When his leg was free from the trap the Lycan lifted it above his head, letting the blood drip off the end. As if he could crave it he leaned over the boy and lapped at the liquid. The cat chirped but stilled as the Lycan lapped at his wounded leg. He didn't seem hungry at first and instead seemed content to lick the crimson liquid clean until he noticed it wasn't flowing away from the leg as it should and it was preventing the healing process and slowing it down. Titling his leg to the side, he noticed what seemed to be the problem. He glanced up at the cat before looking away, licking at his leg again like he didn't want to waste any of the liquid. As the Lycan continued licking, his tongue eventually reached the hole in his leg and started pulling out the metal rod lodged in the leg with his teeth. With a yelp, the cat tried to move away but he couldn't because the wolf was dragging him closer, using his weight against him. Once he managed to escape the hold on his leg he scrambled away and hid behind a tree. "Are you going to kill me?" He asked the Lycan cautiously when he saw the male turning toward him once again. As the Lycan looked up at the young cat he gave another low growl and walked toward him, his eyes never leaving the other.Caleb saw his legs were starting to heal, the saliva of the Werewolves can do that and he was grateful that he found him but once he saw the Lycan approaching him, his body went into a sudden heat. It was unexpected, he wasn't supposed to have his first heat until he was eighteen and had found his Mate but for some reason, he was going into an early heat and he was helpless and at the mercy of the Lycan who seems to have gone into a sudden Rut himself. No, wait. The Tiger thought back to when the Lycan appeared in front of him. Why wasn't he in pain as he initially was before the Lycan came? Well, that was simple, the Lycan was already having his Rut and was releasing strong pheromones which calmed him. Did he do that? He could not have. Right."Stop hiding away from me, little kitten." The Lycan warned but the cat stayed rooted to where he was, claws digging into the bark of the tree he hid behind. It was a useless attempt at hiding because all the Lycan needed was one leap and he would be pinning him to the earth in seconds. The fact that he couldn't run away because every step the Lycan took drew nearer to him, and added more and more pressure on Caleb's heart. Why does it matter anyway?"Please...stop! I don't want to die!" He cried, shaking slightly and holding his tail between his legs, hoping maybe if he showed enough fear the wolf would leave. That hope lasted five seconds before the Lycan lunged at him with a growl. In one quick movement, Caleb managed to slip away from the wolf's grip, making a mad dash away. He ran, jumping over rocks and fallen trees as fast as he could, his tail held between his legs and ears pinned back against his head.He was completely terrified. Afraid the Lycan would devour him but then again wouldn't it have made sense if he had just chewed out his leg earlier rather than heal him only to chase him and capture him then kill him? Maybe the Lycan just loves to play with his food first before he eats it. Either way, the cat wasn't going to stick around to find out.All he wanted was to hide somewhere safe but the sound of snapping branches and heavy breathing filled the air around him. 'Damn it! I have to lose him.' The cat thought frantically, running even faster. He heard the growls getting louder and more ferocious behind him, he could hear the crackle of a fire and smell the burning of leaves. The Lycan was setting the forest on fire with his rage that the little Cat who dared send him into Rut was running away from him. The scent of blood filled the air and the cat knew there was no way for him to win this race. He tripped backward, rolling down a hill, his tail still tucked between his legs. Before he could stop he hit the ground with a heavy thud, a scream tore out of his throat and he curled into himself.Tears streamed down his face as he felt something warm and wet trickle past his ear. 'Shit!' The tiger yelled to himself, flinching as he heard a large foot stomp down next to him. This time though there was nothing gentle about the footsteps. They sounded like thunder echoing in his ears as he closed his eyes in despair. 'This is it. This is it for sure.' He thought resignedly. His body immediately tensed and he jerked forward in a protective crouch. He opened his eyes slowly and stared into glowing red orbs, the Lycan's eyes seem to be on fire! What kind of a Lycan is this? He wondered but the Lycan didn't let the thought settle in his mind before he was pressing him into the earth with giant hands. At that point, he wasn't sure he was staring into the eyes of the Lycan who had saved him from the trap and helped his leg heal. This Lycan looked batshit crazy and it scared the hell out of the Tiger.*****Chapter: 4.*****A TRIP INTO THE PAST. PT:2.*****Conri was on a ground patrol with his Betas when he felt his chest burn and his ears pick up a sound from a distance and he followed it. He had only taken his first shift yesterday and he was in a good mood, happy to run with his wolf and to get used to him. His Lycan was different, and he loved that."Where are you going, Alpha Of Alphas?!" Collen called after him when he saw him take a different route. The Lycan didn't bother to reply and the Betas left him to wander. As if a certain voice called to him, Conri ran, shifting on the way and by the time he reached the source of the cries, he couldn't think straight. As if a fog had clogged his sense of reasoning, the Lycan went crazier by the second. Once he had freed the Kitten and saw him try to run away. Both man and Beast lost consciousness as they gave chase. Crushing and setting the forest aflame with rage and unimaginable craving. The desire to ram into the little kitten unti
Chapter: 5.*******PRESENT DAY.******Mariana watched her son closely as he taught the little cubs. Little paw prints littered the snowy mountains. She must say he was starting to get back to his usual self since the Alpha's Reject. Hissing at the dreadful thought, the Werecat began to approach the little group. The memories from the night her son had run home, bleeding profusely and burning up with a high fever. Those moments made her stomach churn. Once Caleb ran into her embrace he fell and fainted. Unconscious for four days before they were able to bring him back to life then another four to recover his strength as for the wound, he still hasn't healed from it because it was a wound inflicted through Rejection and only the Alpha who left the poisoned mark is capable of healing the wound. Caleb was forced to wear a band around his neck to prevent it from getting infected while his mother tried to keep the wound healthy with her magic.Although she could tell from the marks on his
Chapter: 6.******"What happened last night, Alpha?" Colleen asked, his Alpha as he gently placed a mug of calming potion by his side. Conri hissed and ignored his question as he reached to grab the mug and drank it all in one go, wincing at the taste. He could feel his face heat up at how bitter the taste was. Damn, they keep upping his dosages. He's going to get tired of drinking this shit sooner than later.Conri set down the now empty mug with a heavy sigh and glared at his Betas. He could see how bothered they were. He wished he could tell them what had happened last night but he couldn't. Even he doesn't want to accept whatever the hell it was that had happened."Can we please focus on the mission first?" He snapped, pushing himself away from the table. They should've known better than to ask him about last night's activities when he was so adamant about avoiding answering their questions. "Alpha!" Dom growled, moving around the table to block the exit to the room. Conri sighed
Chapter: 7.*****Tangled limbs and soft snoring could be heard from the large bedroom when the first Beta stepped into the room. He took a moment at the door, collecting his thoughts and preparing himself for the wrath of the sleeping Alphas and once he had settled his breathing enough he began to slowly walk to the bed. Malin stood at the foot of the bed and very cautiously tapped on the Alpha's shoulder. Leonardo stirred with a frown already plastered on his face and a death glare directed at the one who had woken him up. When his eyes met the apologetic ones of his first Beta, Leonardo settled down and sat up in bed, stretching tired muscles and grunting loudly when Thrift surfaced within his eyes. "What is it, Malin?" He asked with a low voice laced with annoyance, "You know what time it is?" He asked as if expecting an answer but Malin didn't reply he knew exactly what time it was, it was the Alphas sleeping time after an exhausting night shift with their Luna, Phoenix, the fu
Chapter: 8.*****Chaos. It was all chaos. The sounds of screams filled the night air as Weretigers tried to find shelter, but it wasn't enough. There were too many. They have invaded their land and now they are fighting back. Trying to defend their Clan and territory but these wolves were far too powerful. They didn't even bother with wolfbane bows. Only jaws and claws. And they were going to take what they wanted. Blood and tears ran down the faces of weretiger warriors as they fought against the Werewolves. Their only chance left, to save themselves, was to retreat in defeat. But they would not do that just yet until they were certain their Lady had led the Cubs and Omegas out the lands out of harm's way. The battle raged on as the moon cast its light on the ground below. The moonlight was bright enough for them to see the enemy that was running through their lands but they kept them away from the Mainlands, waiting patiently for Scott to return with the news then they would retrea
Chapter: 9.*****Caleb stumbled around the fighting field in a daze. He tried to keep his head clear, to not get overwhelmed by the sudden onslaught of noise and motion. His eyes kept darting from one side to the other, from Werewolves to Weretigers. His ears were ringing, and his head was spinning. He couldn't hear the warning being yelled from Scott and by the time he responded it was rather too late, a Werewolf launched at him, sharp jaws clenched into the side of his stomach, biting down, Caleb cried and crouched down on both knees, both hands grabbed tightly around the neck of the Werewolf but the wolf wouldn't bulge and Caleb fought desperately to prey the jaws apart before the wolf rips his ribs out, as a last resolve he shot a light of magic through his hand and the wolf went flying halfway across the battlefield and Caleb shot up on his feet instantly, looking around for the remainder of his group but they had fled the scene leaving just him behind. Grunting in both pain and
Chapter: 10.*****Rafa could not handle Conri's recklessness anymore and without warming pushed forward, sending Conri in. The crowd gasped and all the young Werewolves howled and shifted with heads bowed as it isn't very often they get to see the Lycan but Rafa wasn't interested in them and so ignoring their gasps and greetings, Rafa went on his knees and very carefully picked the cub up and placed him in his giant paws. The cub chirped and nuzzled into the fur-coated paw, his little eyes slowly fell shut... asleep. Very gently he bent lower and got a long sniff of the sleeping cub. His scent was strong for a cub and it had Rafa's nose cranking worriedly. ["Why are you holding that cub with so much care?"] Conri asked but Rafa ignored him.["Hey, you can't shut me out"] Conri tried again to push forward. ["Rafa?"] He called quietly but again Rafa ignored him. Conri frowned, his Lycan never ignored him and Rafa was acting strange and he knew something else was wrong, there was someth
Chapter: 11.******After a long and torturous silence, Colleen muttered."He-He is a god!" "...Is that even possible?" Dom finally managed to say in disbelief."It is indeed, Dominic, but it took him ten thousand years to come full circle.""Full circle?" He asked again, his voice cracking."To be Mated,""Te-Ten thousand!" Colleen squeaked."His divinity is tied with that of his brothers and sisters, that of the gods and goddesses, the earth, the skies, and the Heavens all of which kept the lone god occupied and bound as he tried to create a balance between the Earth and the Human race, settling the chaos his twin created and serving the punishments meant for his twin," Phoenix explained."I'm lost," Dom muttered."I'll explain further," Phoenix assured. "Irtia fell in love with a human girl and it drove him to come down to Earth, he dwelled with her, Marked and Mated her, and when she was going to bear his first offspring Irtia saw she was going to die during childbirth as she is
