CH20: Lights (Damien)
I tried my hardest not to look at her too much as she sat there nervously in the courtroom, but she was so beautiful that I couldn’t help myself at times.
Officer Daniels knocked on my door and told me that there was a young woman here to see me and I knew exactly who he meant, “Let her in,” I told him and he opened the door for her.
“Hi,” she greeted shyly as she walked in, her long blonde hair almost looking brown due to it being wet from the rain.
“Hi,” I replied as I put my judge’s robe on a hanger to the side of my desk. I saw her fiddle with her fingers as she stood there in front of my desk, “Can I do something for you?” I asked as I sat down at my desk across from her, remembering to tread lightly.
She stared at me for a moment before she spoke, “You never appeared in my dreams,” she sounded sad.
