CHAPTER 54

JOEY'S POV

I would never be able to stand hurting Samantha no matter what had ever happened between us in the past. She was still my first love and nothing was going to change that.

After I had left that summer I discovered that she definitely had to move on with her life. I returned to school and was so engulfed with my studies that I had no time for relationships with women even though they threw themselves at me. From the highschool girls, to middle high and the ladies at college, I never had the time. I was too busy planning my life and minding my business.

Getting adapted to my estranged dad had not been actually easy because it came with its troubles. I would never bring myself to trust a man that had abandoned his own family and went on his spree of romance. It was too risky and tacky for me and I would not be stooping that low. I went about my own stuff and even got accused of ghosting on everyone by my mother. I could not share my feelings with anyone and would not tell them
