Some wondered what would become of the throne if Derek actually lost, because he was to strip his powers and fight only physically, while some wondered if the man was intoxicated when he made his statement.
Carly observed Derek's opponent and wondered if he would be better than Derek. She wanted to place her bet on him but she remembered her attempted kidnapping episode and from what she had gathered, he was the culprit.
