“Where is Ruby man.” Owen asked immediately Rowan returned alone, but he didn't answer. He looked broken and sad. He felt so bad that he had to upset his mate. It wasn't his intentions, though. All he wanted was to open Ruby's eyes to see the snake of a friend she has.

Of course, Owen didn't give a damn about Rowan's feelings all he wanted was his mate. Heck! All he wanted was for Ruby to be all his, he didn't want to share her, but he couldn’t force her either. So he had tried so hard to be considerate of her feelings.

“Hey, I won't repeat myself again.” Owen asked, if he could feel himself losing his temper. He also felt that things were not right hence his sudden outburst. He could feel Ruby in distress.

“Hey stop it, she told us she didn't want drama.” Damien, the always cool one, gets in the middle of the two because Owen is already grabbing Rowan by his collar.

“I messed up.” Rowan said, completely dejected.

“What did you do, bastard?” Damien asked p****d.

    Owen's POV I stand in front of Ruby’s grave, which is decorated beautifully with roses. It has been fifty years since she left us. It was devastating, it's her death anniversary today. Basically, I almost come here everyday, it's where I feel at peace. I'm sure she is with Damien now in another world. I envy him truly, immortality is just a curse. The only consolation I have is my three girls who are all grown now, they are all immortal and out and about living their lives. So, basically, I'm living all alone in this boring world.     Ruby’s POV I'm old and grey now, Rowan and Owen are still glowing, they haven't aged a day in all these years we have been married. Damien is old now too just like me, us wolves we take longer to age, but we eventually do. “Baby I've been calling you.” Owen interrupts my thoughts as I'm sitting at the pouch admiring the sunset. He stands behind me, leans a bit and hugs me from behind. He kisses my saggy cheeks. I pull away, I don't feel confident anymore, it could have been better if we had aged together. “Are you alright baby.” He asks coming in front of me, he kneels on one knee and takes my hand in his. “I'm fine, Owen.” I simply say. “Please tell me what's bothering you, my angel.” He asks, his ruby eyes staring deep into my soul. He almost brings me to tears, I can clearly see the love he has for me in his eyes. It has never faded in fact, it increased with time.     Ruby’s POV Someone is knocking at the door, it definitely isn't Möbius, he knows the way in because he is one who locked it. I slowly walk to the door, “who is it.” I ask not daring to unlock it. “Can you open the door from the inside, I already unlocked it?” A mans voice echoes from outside. Part of me is happy that someone might help me, but the other part is terrified. “I'm afraid of Möbius, he has my kids.” I say. "plus I don't know who you are." I add. “No he doesn't, your mates already took your children so you don't need to worry they are safe now.” the man says. “Are you sure, please don't lie to me.” I beg, what if its someone Möbius sent to spy on me, what if he kills my children the moment I open the door. The thought of my children being harmed makes me stand rooted on the ground. I can't risk it, I take small steps backwards, and finally, I take a seat on the couch. “Young lady why aren't you opening?” The voice asks. “I'm sorry, I can't, I'm afraid.”

    Ruby's POV “My babies.” We appear inside a fully furnished baby room, it has three cribs and everything a baby needs. it's obvious he planned all this before. My babies are lying in the cribs sleeping, I run and kneel before them. They are healthy, oh, thank goddess. “See Ruby, I didn't hurt them. I even made this room just for them, I wanted us to live here together.” He says. I try to ignore his comment, now that my babies are here with me. “Be with me, Ruby, I swear I will treat you like a queen.” He adds. What am I going to do now, I don't even know where I am, I am not that strong I can't even defeat him. “It's enough now they are sleeping now come with me so that you can see your new home.” He says, grabbing me before even waiting for me to get up on my own. He is truly a psycho. I try so hard not to lose my temper. He grabs my hand, escorting me outside the babies room. The door opens up to a tiny and dark corridor. Which in turn leads us to a spacious living r

    Ruby's POV We meet Zama right at the entrance of the hospital, I feel so strange being back here considering this is where Möbius kidnapped me at first. “Zama, you?” I ask, what is she doing here, did she come to help me, but how did she know? I almost run towards her, despite all I miss her so much. “Zama you are here.” I say part of me is glad to see her. I almost smile but her expression doesn't look too pleased to see me. “Yes me, b***h, did you think it's the last you saw of me when you confronted me?” She says in a disgusted tone. "I'm back, I only went away to become stronger." I think I thought wrong, she didn't come here for me. But why does she treat me like an enemy. “Did you see Möbius here?” I ask, I hope she tells me. “Of course, I helped him.” She grins. “What? Help to kidnap my children and kill my nannies.” I ask just to make sure. “Yap, I did that my friend.” She stresses the last word with air quotes. "How did you feel when you didn't find them

    Ruby’s POV “Finally we have you all to ourselves now.” Owen hugs me from behind as I am taking a breather after feeding the triplets. They are sleeping so soundly now, I have birth to three beautiful girls; Asher, Andy and Asia. They are fraternal though and they don't share a father. By the goddess blessings, I was able to conceive from each of them. Its like a miracle, its almost impossible but it happened. “We hired nannies for you baby, but you still tire yourself.” Damien says taking my hand and leading me to the couch. My body is exhausted, wolf or not, taking care of babies is a lot of work. Ever since I gave birth I started seeing my mom in a different light. I respect her even more now. It's not easy, it needs dedication. My body feels sore and my eyes puffy. My triplets are ten months old now and they are adorable. It's been hard creating time for my mates buy they have been really understanding. I collapse in Rowan's arms, “I'm exhausted.” I say closing my eyes.
