Wait, is that not Michael, why is he coming towards this direction, Sharon said.

Jeanne turned to see him and their eyes met , he flashed her a smile before going to meet her.

Hi Jeanne, Michael said smiling widely as he got to them.

Hi, she replied simply.

Hmmn, Sharon cleared her throat.

Jeanne am off to the Cafeteria, she said before running off leaving Jeanne alone to tackle her problem by herself.

That brat, she thought fuming angrily making Michael chuckle at her expression.

What's funny, she asked confusedly.

Huh?, nothing. By the way are you not going to the cafeteria, he asked.

I need to see the principal then I will go for lunch afterwards.

Do you mind if accompany you, Michael said with a smile.

Jeanne just stared at him suspiciously not get to giving him an answer.

Common I mean no harm, am just being friendly okay, Michael said noticing the look she's giving him.

I never said your intentions are bad, Jeanne said rolling her eyes but I may take your time.

I can just sit outside the office and wait for you.

Okay, if you insist, she said.

Good afternoon sir, she said as she entered Mr Donald's office.

How may I help you, he said not sparing her a glance.

Sir, it's me Jeanne, I came to apologise for yesterday, I shouldn't have got angry am very sorry.

Oh, I didn't know you are the one, he said smiling.

So what made you change your mind, he asked.

Well dad talked to me last night and he told me somethings and he also warned me to be careful.

I didn't mean to say all those words, I was just angry or maybe I overreacted.

You got your anger from your mom, You behave exactly like your mom.

Sir is that supposed to be a compliment, she asked making the principal laugh out loud.

Yeah of course, he answered. 

You know my mom?, She asked. 

Yeah I met her once but your dad talk about her a lot.

She just answered with a smile.

Sir, if you don't mind I would like to proceed to the cafeteria, am sorry to once again, she said.

Hope I didn't waste too much of your time, Jeanne said to Michael as she got out of the principal's office.

Not really, you were as fast as a cheetah, he said jokingly making her laugh really hard.

We both know I took your time, she said.

I don't know why you insist of following me here.

Am just being nice okay, he said.

But I heard you don't really talk to random people especially girls, you hardly even talk to your friends, so why are you talking to me, she asked.

Well you are not some random people he said making her chuckle.

They talked about some random things while they walked to the cafeteria.

Hey, isn't that Michael, Vera said making all of them to look at Micheal and Jeanne as they walked in the cafeteria laughing heartily. I told you I saw them together at the locker space, she said facing Samantha.

Samantha watched them fuming angrily, if glares could kill, Jeanne sure will be dead by now, Michelle just watched them with a satisfactory smirk on her lips while Richmond watched the with no expression.

Bye pretty, Michael said to Jeanne as they got to the cafeteria, it was fun talking to you.

Bye, she said smiling. He walked to his table where his friends are eating not before maintaining his cold usual face.

Hi guys he said as he sat down.

Hey babe, Jeanne said as she got to her where Sharon is eating her lunch silently.

Hi, Sharon replied simply.

Are you angry about something, Jeanne asked.

You left me all alone to talk to your Crush.

Hey don't tell me you are angry because of that and the last thing I remembered you are the one that left me alone with him.

He actually asked me to leave, sharon said.

How ??, Jeanine ask confusedly.

He signalled to me, she answered.

Oh, I didn't know, but he's kinda cool, Jeanne said smiling widely.

Seriously?, can't you see he's fake, Sharon said.

Fake?, Common his said he's intentions are good, Jeanne said with an eye roll 

You were quick to notice Michelle fake smile but you didn't notice Michael's fake attitude, I didn't know you were this slow-witted. Don't tell me you are, she gasped.

What?,Jeanne asked.

Don't tell me you are falling for him, Sharon whispered which made Jeanne to give her a hard knock on her head.

You fool, don't you think you are overacting, he's just being nice and I can't be rude to him when he didn't do anything wrong. Besides, my dad told me to be careful of those spoilt brat, I don't want to get into trouble in this school so I will just ignore their troubles.

Whatever, Sharon said rolling her eyes.

You know, you look ugly when you rolled your eyes, Jeanne said chuckling at her own words.

You are not okay, Sharon said laughing too.

Their laugh were cut short when Samantha banged her hand in n the table not loudly though she was with Vera.

Hey, what were you doing with Michael the other time. 

And why should I tell you that, Jeanne said making Samantha scoff.

When I ask you a question you answer me because am the queen of this school.

Oh am sorry your Royal majesty bit why can't I see a crown on your head, Jeanne said mockingly making Sharon to laugh out loud but she stopped immediately Samantha glared at her angrily.

I will just go straight to the point, stay away from Michael, he is mine only, Samantha said taking slow steps to her.

Why should I, he's not a thing you can possess so why should you call him yours, if not for the fact that I promise my dad I won't cause trouble, I know what I should be doing to you now but don't forget, promise are meant to be broken. I can break it now and fill your face with bruises, but I will spare you, Jeanne said with a smirk.

Stay away from him or else I will make your stay in this school miserable, Samantha said angrily.

Oh am scared, Jeanne said mockingly.

I mean it Jeanne, stay away from him or you will regret it, trust me I don't make empty threat, she said before storming out, Vera also glared at them before following her.

Am I supposed to be scared now, Jeanne asked Sharon.

I don't know she answered.
