Rachael walked gently towards the Principal's office. She felt her hands cold, as she rubbed them together to generate heat. She brushed her hair slightly, creasing her forehead slightly.
For some reason, she has not been feeling well after her quarrel with Joy. It felt as if a part of her is in an empty void. Joy was her best friend after all. They have been through thick and thin together, but it seems Zack is bent on tainting their friendship.
Knocking gently on Principal Mullins's door, she began to wonder why her attention was needed. There was no doubt she was quite close with the Principal.While most students wished to be in her shoes, as friends with the Principal, some were pretty jealous. Principal Mullins and Rachael's friendship started when Rachael did a heroic act by standing up for a girl who had a talking difficulty.
