To be honest the ongoing lecture was shitty just like the teacher.
“Proceed to page 5.” She spoke, her long ankle length skirt looked like she was a grandma even though she was just in her mid thirties. Freak, I must say.
“Psst.” The guy from behind me spoke. Ignoring, I kept my focus on the stupid book. “Psst, listen.” Shrugging him off once again, I kept my cool. He tapped his pen on my shoulder, “sexy just listen.”
Turning around I saw Tyler Jones. The typical cliché boy who slept with every single girl. “The fuck is your problem?” I lowly hissed. “Give me a pen.”
Scowling at him, I gave him a middle finger and turned towards the teacher.
Her front was towards the board, she kept on writing and spoke at the same time, something about chemicals. “When you react nitric acid with calcium hydroxide it forms a compound called calcium nitrate and water. This reaction is a redox reaction and can be explosive at times.”
“Pen, pen, pen.” He chanted like a pre-school kid. “Shut up Jones.” I said, irritation leaking through my voice.
The teacher turned around and raised an eyebrow at me. “Anything you want to discuss Miss Vidal with the whole class?” She mocked. Tsking, I rolled my eyes at her.
“Don't roll your eyes at me young lady.”
“Whatever.”
I could see the fumes emerging out of her ears. “Get out of my class.” She gritted through her teeth. Looking at her with a bored expression, I smirked. “Gladly.”
Picking up my bag from the floor, I strided towards the door. I could feel there gazes, there eyes burned into my skull. Tilting my head, I gave the teacher a side look and spoke, “no one wants to hear your screechy voice, ma’am.” With that I walked out, hearing the students snicker and laugh at my comment.
Sighing, my feet led me towards the rooftop. My safe heaven where I could drop my façade.
Leaning against the railing, I tilted my face upwards too see the beautiful sky.
Plops of white and grey cotton engulfed the blue patch. The blazing sun hid behind the plops giving them a radiant effect.
It might rain soon. I inhaled a deep breath.
I loved the free air.
Closing my eyes, I felt myself going in the pits of the dark memory which I had been trapped in.
“Daddy! Daddy! Look what I found.” The little girl said jumping around. “Its a butterfly.” She gave a toothy grin. “Wow! It’s so pretty, just like my princess.” He kissed the temple of her daughter lovingly.
“Daddy, I love you so much.” She said making him smile in response. “No! Daddy loves his princess more.” He pouted making her giggle.
The little girl took her fathers hand and started walking towards the icecream shop which was in the opposite direction. “Which flavor, princess?” He asked. The little girl made a confusing face and than she said loudly, “sour apple.”
Nodding at her daughter, they crossed the road hand in hand but before they could reach the shop, two vans came out of nowhere and grabbed the girl, harshly separating them. “Celestina!” He said. His face fumed at the act. “Let my daughter go.” They didn't listen to him, instead the man in the mask aimed a gun at him.
The girl whimpered and cried out. “D-Daddy..”
“Please let her go. Take me instead but don't hurt her.” He said as tears ran down his face. “Let your daughter go? She’ll have to pay the price for your fucking sin.” He seethed out, embedding his gun further into his head. The girl was shaking, violently.
She saw her father pleading on the road. People walked by but no one came to the rescue. No one helped her when she cried out.
“This will be last day you see your daughter, Valentino. You will cry for her but we wont set her free until we are satisfied.” Another guy came and slapped his face. “She’ll pay. Do you hear me? She’ll fucking pay.” He smirked.
“Take the girl away.”
The bulky guys dragged the little girl away. When she tilted her head to see her father, she saw him looking at her mouthing the words, “I’ll save you, my princess.”
But the guy had other plans.
A gun shot rang in the air making her flinch. Her eyes went wide at the crimson mess on the floor.
She saw her father struggling. Struggling for his life.
Yanking herself from there holds she hastily ran towards her father who layed limp. “D-Daddy?” She whispered, to her avail came no answer. “Da..Daddy, look I came.. now let’s have o-our ice.. icecream.” She stuttered out.
Tears leaking through her eyes. She sat near him, not caring about her frock getting damp from the blood. Shaking him, she bit her lip. “I love you..please d-don't leave m..me.” She started freaking out when he didn't answer.
The men saw her. They didn't feel the pain.
They didn't feel her suffering.
One of the man ordered another to bring the girl. Taking a hold of her arm, he yanked her up.
Her hands were bloody. Her clothes were bloody. She was bathed in her fathers blood. The man dragged her away but her eyes were fixed on her fathers body. Throwing her in the backseat, they zoomed away from the scene.
Turning around she saw some people rushing towards him. She placed her bloody hand on the glass as she saw them taking him away in the ambulance.
Opening up my eyelids, a lone tear escaped through. Harshly rubbing it off, I inhaled the air deeply and exhaled it out.
My heart ached. Ached for my father.
A chuckle erupted from my mouth. “Daddy.. I am still alive.”
Tears threatened to spill out once again but I had too keep it in. I wasn't the weak one who cried. I was strong.
Stronger than ever to take the revenge.
Looking at my phone, I saw the time, it was almost lunch time.
Dragging myself back too the stairs, I descended down towards the cafeteria.
Another day went by.
Another day filled with agony.
“Are you sure you don’t wanna join the cheer club?” Stacy asked. We all were seated with our food on the trays. “I don't know Stac, I have actually no idea.” I sighed. She took a sip of her cranberry juice, her eyes lingering at my face with confusion, “you were there it in the last year, why not now?"How could I tell her that I quitted cheer practice just too get in the skating club.“I’ll give it a thought.” I said making her smile.Flora was still nowhere seen, probably out there with that jerk, Nick.“Why are they so hot?” Ava questioned, resting her chin on her palms. “Who?” Marcus asked.“Them.” She pointed out to the table in the far corner towards the window. Marcus turned around. His face immediately turned into a frown. “The nerds?"“Yes, they all look so yummy.” She said dreamingly. He looked back at us with his frown deepened. “What’s with that look, Marcus?” I asked him. “They are fucking cheaters.”“How so?” I questioned. My eyes drifted at there table. One of the boy
Have you ever experienced that moment when you want to bash someone's head so hard until they bleed? Yeah that's how I felt right now.Looking at my Mathematics teacher, he wore a disappointed expression. “Look Celestina, I would be very straightforward with you, if you wont get good grades than you would never graduate.”Anything but a disappointed expression. I fucking hate it. It makes me feel low.I scoffed. “What do you want me too than?"“I suggest you too study. If you cant, than we can get you a tutor. We have excellent students who are tutoring for extra credit hours but you’ll have too figure out which one suits you better ” He said, making me roll my eyes in response. “No thankyou, I don't want any of your pathetic help.”“Celestina I suggest you too co-operate with me and also fix your manners. If you cant than I have no choice but too call your mother for this issue.” He ended his sentence. I was fucking seething. How dare he drag mom into this. It’s my fucking life not h
Sitting in the garden with a book in my hand and a pair of airpods plugged in my ears was the best combination.Hometown smile by Bahjat bursting in my ears.My eyes kept on scanning the lines until it was dark enough to go back inside. Lifting myself off the swing, I hurriedly went inside towards the kitchen.Skipping through some cupboards, I came across my fathers favorite cupboard. He used to lock his food in it since me and my mother always liked to steal and than devour it. He had the best taste in everything. His cooking was just extra. Sighing I brushed past it. Sadness washing over my features once again.Grabbing a pack of Doritos and a glass of cranberry juice, I strided back to my room. I sat down on the overused bed making myself comfortable in it. Placing my laptop on my lap, I played an episode of Stranger Things. If you haven’t watched that show than you live under a rock, my friends. Munching on my Doritos I started to watch it. Hours later, I had finished the whole
A week had passed in a blur. In which either I was on the bed or I was in the bathroom with my head in the toilet. Yuck. Yeah you guessed it right, I was throwing up everything I was eating. I felt great. My mother hadn’t come back home, she just texted me saying that she was on a business trip with the client. Just like always she wasn't there to treat my disease.Sighing, I got off from my car and leaned against it for a minute, my head still spinning from all the vomiting. I hadn’t ate much since my stomach was contracting painfully from inside but I had to endure it. Endure all of it just like before. Before I could walk, a pair of arms engulfed me in a tight hug making me flinch hard. They immediately retracted their arms and stood infront of me. “I’m sorry!" I looked at the intruder and saw Flora standing with a frown on her face. “Girl, you look horrible.” She fake gagged. “I know that already.” I sighed and grabbed my backpack from the passenger seat. “Rough weekend?"We bot
“This project will consist of partners. I’ll be assigning the partner you’ll work with and I don't want any complaints, am I understood?” The teacher also known as Henry addressed to the class. A chorus of yes’s were heard.I took a side glance at Zachariah who was busy writing something on his notebook. He looked extra handsome today. He wore a pair of beige dress-pants and a white collared shirt which was folded up to his elbows. A silver chain hanging from his neck. Three rings rested on both of his hands and a black beaded charm bracelet. Are nerds that hot?His face looked so innocent. The glasses rested on the bridge of his nose. His soft pink lips were turned into a pout. Extra delicious. His hair was messily disheveled, draped on his forehead and eyes.Illegal.“Anna and Tyler,”“Cristiano and West,”The teacher called out names. Groans were heard in the room but my eyes were fixed on something special. And that special was him. Am I getting obsessed? Yes.“Linda and Bella,”
All my life I was running in circles. Running away from everything but still spinning back to the very same dark spot which had been swallowing me up from inside. But life has some unexpected turns and twists. Some are bad, some are good. The good ones only come when you pass the bad ones.Right now I stood infront of the library, hoping I could keep my headaches at bay. The migraines were coming back and I definitely was not looking forward to it.Sighing, I strided inside looking for the same dirty blonde head but to my avail there was no such head. My eyes trailed towards my watch that read 12:45. Was I late for the meetup? Yes. If you ask me the reason, I wont say it. Looks like he ditched me. Expected. A groan erupted from my mouth as I walked too the nearest table. Plopping myself down, I rested my head on the table. Closing my eyes, my mind drifted back to the dark hole. A hole from where you could never come out even if you tried.Life is entertaining too some.A flash of pa
The rest of the day had ended in a blur. I walked pass the streets, my mind drifted towards the last encounter with him.If you’re wondering where my car is; than let me rewind a bit back, some bitches who disliked me and my guts ruptured my tires. Yeah and that’s how I ended up here in the rain soaking from head to toe.Life is way too unpredictable. I was freaking cold. My numb feet led me through the neighborhood where the richest resided. Strands of hair were stuck on my face. My clothes drenched which sticked to me like a second skin and the skirt wasn't helping me either today. Lucky me today. The dark patch had been giving out a heavy amount of water. Trees looked like they’ll fall at any minute. Here, in LA the storms were bad. Very bad. Taking a few more steps I halted when I saw a familiar face talking too another. The person was smiling. A beautiful smile.Blowing out a shuddered breath, I continued my walk until my eyes met his. There he stood with a little girl in his
Zachariah;“She ish so pwretty.” Zinzi giggled as I tucked her in bed. “Really?” I questioned, more asking myself. “Yesh, just like a pwrincess.”“True.” I mumbled, not sure why.Kissing her forehead, I smiled at my little girl. “Goodnight baby and don't stay awake too late okay?"“Okay Zacky.” She replied and closed her eyes.Giving her another kiss, I exited her room and strided towards the lounge. These past weeks were weird. Whenever I saw her, she had her eyes latched on me. Scarlett was quite uncomfortable and always told me too stay away from her since she is a bad influence. But was she? Only time could tell. The time when Lilliana had lashed on her made her look weak but just for a second. Emotions had lingered in her eyes. She seemed conflicted. It felt as if she wasn't strong.Scarlett wasn't happy when she found out that I had to do my project with her. She maybe my girlfriend but she was too possessive. Sometimes she just wouldn't let me friendzone anyone other than her
