(Anastasia's POV)

"Happy Halloween." a husky voice whispered in my ear and I jumped, dropping the carton of milk on the table but it was closed, so nothing spills.

It was early morning and it was Halloween today. My dress was hanging in my closet and the mere thought of wearing it in front of Caleb made tingles shoot up my spine.

"We are running low on food," I said and I heard him shuffling behind me. I turned to see him staring at me with amused eyes. "What are you looking at? Go buy some food. Unless you want to eat pasta dipped in mango juice." I was just joking, I know that it's Rosalinda's job for grocery.

"You look like a wife," Caleb said, his eyes brightening up immensely and my eyes widened. "You, asking your husband to go to the grocery store and buy food." My eyes widened at his sentence and my face felt heated all of a sudden. I wanted to shift the topic immediately.

"But I am married to Caleb Carter remember?" I said and now he was beaming, vastly amused at the situation
