(Anastasia's POV)

I heavily strode my feet on the floor towards our room as I brushes off the tears welled in my eyes. I don't know why I felt a throbbing pain in my chest. Trying to control my emotions as much as I can but my tears are such a traitor wanting to escape from my swollen eyes.

I faintly heard Caleb calling my name before I slammed the door closed. However, Caleb is faster than lightning, in an instant, he sneaks inside the room before the door fully closes. He grabbed my arms and harshly pulled me, causing my body to turn around, and there... he saw my crimson-red damp eyes.
