Chapter 45 - when she got her sight back

"Son will you get a hold of yourself." Mr. Joe reprimanded Jake in an authoritative voice. You could feel the pain in his voice, although he hasn't known her for long he considered her his daughter and she has grown on him.

"Dad she is gone, Anastasia is gone and it's my fault" Jake wailed like a child, seating on the hospital floor. Knees up, his head on his knees he painfully gripped his hair.
