Chapter nineteen

AMELIA’s POV..

I could feel the tears stream down my cheeks as the maid walked away from me, in a hurry. I remembered the first time they were together, clearly. He had a knife placed to her throat.

I was right there but I couldn’t do anything. What was he planning to do to her now that I wasn’t there? I ran my fingers through my hair as I rushed after the maid.
