Chapter one hundred and ninety seven

AMELIA’s POV….

“Huh?” Was the first thing that left his lips. I clenched my fists as I looked down. I also couldn’t believe I was doing this, but if this could finally give me the peace of mind I had been looking for all this time, I had to.

I ran my fingers through my hair as I walked into the room, shutting the door behind me as I walked even more into the room.

“You heard me. I want to believe that whatever I’ve believed all this time is wrong, so, please, tell me what I want to know now. I want to know everything that happened. Do not leave anything out.” I told him as I bit my lips, forcing the tears back in.

He walked closer to me, but as he did, not knowing if I trusted him enough yet, I took a step back as I ran my fingers through my hair.
