ALPHA ALEXANDER’s POV…

I could see how flattered she was. It was obvious on her face. From how reddened her cheeks became, it was extremely obvious that she was trying to feign being mad at me when Infact, my compliment had an extreme effect on her.

Seeing that it had this sort of effect on her made me feel something that I couldn’t quite explain, but whatever it was, my wolf jumped in joy at this. I smirked as I stared at her, and I could see her trying her best not to stare at me.

She was terrible at hiding her emotions, and she needed to work on it. Not when she was with me, though.

I loved this little game of hide and seek.

I was busy staring at her, watching her naive self try to hide her feelings from a master like me and in all honesty, it was one of the best feelings in the world, because why not?

I chuckled as I watched her try to go ahead with cooking, but then, I placed my hand on hers and with the way she turned away, not too reflexively, I knew that she couldn’t stay mad
