CHAPTER 10

"Wait Lia, you mean Nick your boss fired you without any good reason?" Shantelle was almost yelling in anger. After dinner, both sisters sat at the balcony of their apartment, talking about how their day went. Lia literally tells Shantelle everything that happens at her work place as they are very close and Shantelle in turn, tells her sister everything too.

"Exactly! I don't know exactly what I did for him to have just fired me after all my dedicated hardwork and years I put in that company. He knows I won't get a job pretty soon and that's what is more painful." Lia sighed and gazed up at the dark sky. Shantelle moved closer to her on the bench they both sat and placed her hands on Lia's.
