Chap 6 Dating offer

“Ryan! Don't you still love me?" Ryan's girlfriend asked uncertainly.

Ryan glanced briefly at his lover and folded his arms across his chest, then looked straight back in front.

"I warned you that I don't like having a lover who is nagging and jealous for no apparent reason," Ryan stated coldly.

“I think it's time for our relationship to end here. Go ahead, find another man, one you can boss around and suspect as you please!” Ryan stared coldly at the woman who was now his ex-girlfriend.

Ryan's girlfriend stared in disbelief at Ryan, who was acting selfishly. She had heard rumors about how Ryan easily broke up with his girlfriend.

“What do you mean by saying, like that? Did you break up with me? You bastard, you Ryan! You just want to break up with me and this must all be because of that woman, right?" Ryan's girlfriend snapped, shaking Ryan's body violently.

“Sir, please stop!” Ryan ordered his driver. And the driver immediately followed suit.

Once the car has stopped. Ryan glanced at the woman he had just decided on. “My driver will take you to your destination. And one more thing, you don't need to be afraid that I will take back all the gifts I ever gave you!"

“Should I thank you for your generosity?” Ryan's ex-girlfriend snapped.

He opened the car door and he got out of the car ignoring the screams from his ex-girlfriend, whom he broke up with suddenly.

He walked back to the place where he had seen Karin walking alone. The distance his car had traveled earlier was not very far, so he could only reach his destination by walking.

His eyes caught the image of Karin, who entered a restaurant, which was not far from his office.

'As I thought, she will go for lunch. Has she made an appointment with someone to have lunch there? No! That can't happen. I won't let Karin get close to a man other than me!' thought Ryan

Enter the same restaurant that Karin just entered. Ryan stopped at the edge of the restaurant trying to find Karin.

When he managed to find the girl's whereabouts, Ryan immediately approached Karin's table and joined her in sitting at Karin's table.

Karin, who was eating her lunch, was surprised when she saw Ryan's presence. She didn't want to continue eating because she didn't want to be seen as rude to her boss.

“Sir, Ryan! Why are you here? Weren't you in the car earlier?" Karin asked curiously.

Ryan stared intently at Karin, with a look in his eyes that made her nervous. I just want to congratulate you, because you have given my lover a reason to be angry and provoke me, to break up with him."

Suddenly Karin was shocked, her mouth opened and she stared in disbelief at Ryan. "Hah! Why did you bring up my name, as the cause of the breakup of your relationship with your lover?"

Ryan's gaze fell on Karin's red lips, which opened and closed. Those lips were so tempting, he wanted to taste them again. Ryan's hand reached out to Karin's lips and wiped the melted sauce, which was spilled on Karin's lips.

As if enchanted by what Ryan was doing to her lips, Karin's lips automatically opened and she accidentally licked Ryan's finger, which had traces of melted sauce on it.

The two of them stared at each other as if there was a magic power hypnotizing them. Karin was the first to realize that she lowered her face because she couldn't see Ryan's eyes.

Seeing Karin lower her face made Ryan laugh softly. He said in a low voice so that only Karin could hear what he said.

"Are you afraid or embarrassed about me, Karin? Or were you affected by the incident just now? Tell me, are you still a virgin, Karin?” Ryan gave Karin a sharp and probing gaze.

Karin raised her head, her face flushed red. "I don't mean to be rude. It's just that I won't answer your question!"

Ryan took Karin's fingers into his and again she felt a vibration, like an electric current.

“Are you challenging me to find out the truth for myself? I gladly accepted it, because I am not a coward who will run away when given a challenge." Ryan whispered teasingly to Karin.

Ryan flashed a rare, thin smile to tease Karin. He liked seeing the look on Karin's face, which turned red and her eyes stared at him in disbelief.

The conversation between the two was interrupted when a waiter came with a menu in his hand and handed it to Ryan. Ryan accepted it for a few short moments he read the menu carefully.

The waiter then left in front of them, after taking Ryan's order.

“Tell me, Karin! Did you come out of the office on purpose, still wearing my shirt, like that? Is it to announce to people, especially those who work at my company and know me?” Ryan asked.

"Hah! What do you mean by saying that?"

Ryan smiled a sarcastic smile, "I don't need to explain anything, you will hear later, if rumors are circulating that's where my words are proven."

Karin's shoulders slumped, she worked to earn money, to fulfill her living needs and not to become the subject of gossip. Even more so with the CEO where she works.

She has had enough experience, which has become an example in her life. And she was determined to make this a real example, as a reminder for her, not to do the same thing.

“I never thought I would become the subject of gossip, sir! You shouldn't follow me to eat at this restaurant either. "This will only add to their gossip," said Karin weakly.

Ryan spun the glass of water in his hand. "Did you know that your position is only as a secretary who is still in the apprenticeship stage? I'm not sure I'll make you my permanent secretary!”

Excited! Karin's heart was shocked to hear what Ryan said. "What do you mean by saying that? Do you still doubt my abilities?"

"When you say that, it makes me even more enthusiastic, to prove that I will be successful as your secretary!" Karin's face showed strong determination.

Ryan was just about to open his mouth to answer Karin's words. The waiter came to deliver the order. After the waiter left, Ryan ate his lunch deliciously.

No conversation occurred while the two of them were eating. It seems that Ryan is not the type of person who eats while talking. A few minutes later the two of them finished eating their lunch.

Ryan put his spoon on the plate and looked at Karin gently and seductively. “I have an offer for you!”

Karin looked at Ryan suspiciously, in her heart wondering what the man was offering, hopeful it wasn't something she wouldn't be able to accept.

"Is the offer related to work, sir?"

Ryan nodded. "Of course! Since you have made me decide on my lover, you must attend together with me as a couple at the party, which will be held by the company at the end of the month. I don't accept a word of rejection from you!”
