Arielle's POV The pack gathered at dusk, lanterns strung between the trees, the same clearing that had seen so much blood over the past year finally hosting something worth celebrating instead. There was a sense of last remaining quiet that blankets itself when the roar of a battle has vanished leaving only its residual huff.
