FORTY TWO

Avelyn was still on her stomach as the cell phone she had placed on the nightstand near her bed kept ringing. Avelyn lazily grabbed a pillow and stuffed her ears with the thick, but soft pillow to block out the sound of her cell phone. Today she doesn't want to pick up phone calls from anyone. At eight o'clock she had gotten a call from Winnie, Lean's secretary, if she was asked to come to the office at nine. But now the clock has shown half past nine. She did not want to fulfill that request. After all, why would she go to the office if she had just finished a photo shoot yesterday. As far as she knew there was no new shooting schedule for today. And Avelyn assumed he was making excuses to meet her.
